24 Academies Clash

There was a large competition that was happening in Anima. It was a big competition that many Academies paid attention to as it was a good look into Adepts with potential. Many competed, and although there was obviously many that failed, Academies would still keep an eye on all of the potential Adepts to recruit.

One young Adepts in particular got the attention of many Academies. Although he was eliminated, it was clear to many people that he had huge potential to grow and thrive under the right teaching. He was only 13 years old and his future seemed limitless in the eyes of the Academies. They all instantly reached out after seeing his first round in the competition.

The young boy in question was wondering around Anima, seemingly lost. He was dragging along a bag which contained his things. In his other hand, he was holding a piece of paper. He kept looking at the paper and then looking around.

He had a slim build and was an average height for a 13 year old. He had black hair that came down to his neck and a fringe that covered his forehead. He bright eyes and looked quite adorable as he looked around. Although he was young, it was very clear that he was handsome.

He scratched his head as he read the piece of paper. It had directions that he was supposed to be following, but he got lost and was now confused as to where to go. As he was trying to figure out where to go, he noticed a group of people down the street. They all seemed to be looking at him, which scared him slightly.

The young boy was extremely shy so he didn't like that they were staring at him. Although he was a strong Adepts with potential, due to his shyness, he was never able to bring out his full power when he was in a battle. He kept his head down as he approached the group.

As he was about to walk past them, one of the men stopped him.

"You are Jeon Jungkook, correct?"

The young boy was stunned. He nervously nodded his head. The man grinned as he put his hand on his shoulder.

"Do you mind if we have a quick word with you?"

Jungkook nervously didn't know how to respond as he stuttered and stammered quietly. A loud voice was then heard from across the street.

"Leave him alone, he's ours."

Another group come running over. The group that had stopped Jungkook pushed Jungkook behind them as they faced the oncoming group. Two more groups appeared shouting at the other groups.

"Hand him over!"

"He's joining us!"

"Back off!"

Jungkook panicked as he realized that these people were all from different Academies. He became more and more frightened as the commotion seemed to draw more groups to their location. Apparently a lot of Academies were stalking the area trying to find him to get him to join their Academy. They groups all began shouting and arguing with each other. Jungkook just stood there scared as they all argued with each other.

At that moment, Jungkook sensed someone charging energy. The next moment, someone had created a large wave of energy that hit one of the groups. Chaos ensued. Adepts all summoned their powers and began attacking each other. Jungkook managed to get out of the grip of the man and hid in a nearby bush. He watched as the groups all fought in the street, Jungkook was completely terrified.

Suddenly, someone grabbed him and pulled him out of the bush.

"I got him!"

Jungkook struggled but couldn't get away.

"I think that's enough of this."

Jungkook turned and his eyes lit up. Before him was a man wearing black armor and glasses. This was the man he had been planning to meet up with. Hitman Bang. Beside him stood a young man whom Jungkook also recognized. He had seen a projection of this boy in a Underground Arena battle. He knew that he was a powerful Magic-Channeller. RM.

Hitman Bang turned to Namjoon and he gave him a simple nod. Namjoon stepped forward and began chanting. Lightning burst forth from his hands and surged into the sky. The fighting group all stopped as they sensed a large manifestation of energy. They all looked at Namjoon completely stunned. The lightning continued to surge, it's area growing. The man holding Jungkook let go and fell back in terror.

Hitman Bang smiled at Jungkook who hurriedly grabbed his things and ran to Hitman Bang. As a member from another group saw Jungkook running, he charged forward to intercept, but just as he stepped forward he was instantly struck down by a powerful bolt of lightning. The man collapsed on to the ground and passed out.

Namjoon gave everyone an intense look.

"The next person who steps forward will end up in the same way."

A young man smirked at the threat and chanted quickly, rushing forward. He wasn't even able to finish chanting as a lightning bolt shot at him before he even realized anything had happen. In the next moment, he was on the ground unconscious.

Everyone stayed silent and didn't move an inch. No one could react after seeing such a savage display of power. Jungkook reached Hitman Bang. He was nervous but also relieved. After seeing Namjoons incredible display of power, he knew that he had made a good choice to choose Big Hit. He shyly bowed to Hitman Bang. Hitman Bang nodded.

"You are extremely popular it seems. I am Hitman Bang. If it is still your wish, I am more than willing to invite you to study at Big Hit Academy."

Jungkook looked over his shoulder at Namjoon surrounded by lightning, holding off all of these Adepts single handedly. His eyes lit up at the prospect of training with and learning from an Adept of this caliber. He looked back to Hitman Bang and nodded resolutely. Hitman Bang smiled.

"Very well, from this moment onwards, I will help you to grow as an Adepts. I look forward to working with you."

Jungkook smiled excitedly as Hitman Bang pulled Jungkook to his side and turned to Namjoon, who was still standing there surrounded by lightning, fiercely facing the large group.

"Time to leave."

Namjoon grinned as the lightning around began to stir. It's power seemed to grow as it glowed brighter. Many Adepts knew that Jungkook was about to get away and rushed forward. Namjoon punched his left fist forward as he chanted and several bolts of lightning bursting forth and struck many of the Adepts running forward.

Even though Namjoon was sending forth a lot of lightning, there was still a large amount of energy that continued to grow in the sky. Namjoon lifted his hand and slammed it down. All the lightning energy in the sky coalesced together and formed a giant lightning bolt which came crashing down with a lot of force and power. As it hit the ground, the intense forced pushed everyone back and an extremely bright flash of light blinded everyone.

As everyone's eyes readjusted from the blinding flash, they looked around and saw that Hitman Bang, Namjoon and Jungkook had all disappeared.

Jungkook rubbed his eyes, the bright flash blinded him temporarily as well.

"Sorry about that, I should have warned you about that."

Jungkook's eyes adjusted and he saw that he was speeding across the sky. He looked around and saw that he was sitting in what looked like a carriage yet it was flying through the air. He instantly knew that this was a Travelling Flux Tool. Flux Tool's were devices powered by ones energy. There were many types and all helped people in their day to day lives. Travelling Flux Tool's were devices that allowed people to travel faster and more conveniently.

In front of him, seemingly controlling this Flux Tool, was Hitman Bang. Sitting beside Jungkook was the strong Adept that used the lightning and fought against the large group of Adepts singlehandedly. The Adept turned to Jungkook and grinned.

"We'll be learning and working together from here on out. I'm Kim Namjoon. Underground Magic-Channeller and Power Designer. Codename RM."

He looked out of the window. Jungkook followed his eye line to see a large forest. Namjoon put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

"Welcome to Big Hit Academy."
