Beyond The Red: A New Era

The 2023/24 season has just ended and United finished 8th on the Premier league table and only making it into European competition by beating City in the FA cup, some fans of the club might take joy in the fact that we finally beat City, but I was angry due to the fact that once again no progress was made. We finished the previous season in 3rd position and now we barely made it into European competition. 

I'm currently walking home with other United fans from the viewing center where we had gone to watch the game and conversations were going on around me "At least we go still play for Europe next season" said one fan "abi na e no be like all those yeye Chelsea abi wetin you feel Shola" [yeah at least we are not Chelsea what do you think Shola?] asked my friend Jide who had gone along with me to go watch the game. "Their 2 na rubbish they play this season. All that one no even concern me like that my own be say make that Ten Hag comot my team" [both teams were rubbish this season and I don't really care I just want Ten Hag out of the team] I replied and heard various murmurs of agreement.

While other discussions were ongoing, I was thinking about the state of the team cause while it is easy to point fingers at the coach and management, the players can't be without blame. Some players like Martial and Evans should not be in the team and the exorbitant wage some of these players earn, but they are not worth it like Antony earning 200K a week or Mount earning 250K was cause for someone to be angry it had gotten so bad that Arsenal had a better chance of winning the League before we did. Looking up, I found that I had gotten and wished everyone good night I went inside and took the stairs to the third floor where my apartment was. I had a shower and made some noodles for dinner before going to bed with hopes that Manchester United would get better.

Waking up I found myself floating in a void due to the fact that I had no perception of time, I had no idea how long I had been here but as an avid reader of isekai Webnovels it wasn't lost on me that this seemed to fit the typical description of a ROBs waiting room I just had to wait my turn. With the last thought having played out, The ROB was left contemplating "while I can't directly make your team better, I can send you back in time with your memories to make your dream a reality or to do whatever you wish" I considered this and agreed due to the fact that I really had no choice "do I get to choose when I'll be born?" I asked "No you don't" he replied back. With a shake of my head, I told him "Alright send me off" with that, a portal opened beneath me and the next time I gained consciousness, it was due to spank on my ass that me crying my lungs out and hence I was reborn.
