{Konohagakure. 46 modern era.}

Konoha orphanage.
Fragments of sun light, weaving playfully through the leaves and branches of a lonely tree, in the backyard of the orphanage.
In the embrace of a carpet made of shadows and light spots, the falling leaves riding the refreshing breeze, brushing the face of a child, lying on a bed tailored from green grass.
"I think it's time to start my practice.... now or never...and I need to come up with a name for this practice."
Muttered Jin softly, with closed eyes.
Taking a minute to calm his mind, without changing his position, he wants to look like he's just asleep or sunbathing, so no cross-legged position for him.
"Let start by sensing my chakra..."
Lying in his place under the tree, Jin dived in his own body, in an attempt to locate his chakra and get a good understanding of it.
"Humm!!... found it.."
That part was easy, because he already sensed his chakra before.
Now, things will gets more serious, he needs to figure out how to separate his two energies and in the same time embrace himself for the backlash.

"Haaah phew... 4 hours and I achieved nothing..."
Said Jin dejectedly, he can feel his chakra and the same for his Yin and Yang energies, but they just won't budge, he couldn't even stop them from fusing to create new chakra.
"I guess it up to hard work.... I hope it won't take too long, that will only make the practice more dangerous, the more my body gets used to chakra."
Sighing, Jin decided to tread this path step by step with hard work for now.
"In case, I make no progress, I try to come up with something to get through this first hurdle."
Jin already Know this going to be a long and hard Path, because just earlier, in the 4 hours, he tried to separate his 2 energies, he felt nothing, not even the slightest sign of any progress.

In the circular office of the Hokage, the third was listening to the new reports from the north-west borders, concerning Kusagakure and Iwagakure.
"Hokage sama, we received some bad news from our spies in Kusagakure"
Said and eagle masked Anbu, which received a nod from the third Hokage, to keep reporting, and his face didn't betray any emotions, he didn't need to show any expressions, because he can guess what happened in Kusagakure.
" Due to some corrupted members of the civilian council of Kusagakure, and a couple of Iwagakure spies taking hold of key ranks in the ruling strata of the village, with an infiltration period, estimated to be more than 5 years, Iwagakure successfully invaded Kusagakure, and there next move would be laying siege to our borders"
Reported the Anbu.
The third Hokage just sighed and dismissed the Anbu.
"We will be having a meeting, inform the Ninja and civilian council members, and call the head of the Nara clan to my office before the meeting"
Ordered the third Hokage calmly with a sharp look on his eyes.

That day marked the outcrop of the first spark of an all-out war.

"This is not working at all, I train most of 8 hours I have everyday, but like I'm trying to split a rock with an egg...sigh"
Sighed Jin, sitting near a wooden pillar, watching the kids play in the inner courtyard.
It's been 2 weeks since Jin started his training.
He did everything he could to separate his Yin and Yang energies, yet nothing happened, and he started to believe that it's not a matter of hard work.
"This doesn't make any sense, how come I can't control my OWN energies...haah, I must be doing something wrong"
Muttered Jin to himself, his face a mask of frustration.
"Hey, mimi-chan, this is not how ' hide and seek ' is played..hhh"
Said one of the kids playing in the courtyard.
"Hm!!?? Then how!??" Asked Mimi cutely tilting her head.
"Look, one of us should stay in one place blind folded, and the others run to hide...."
Here Jin was absent mindedly, listening to kids playing, when he suddenly felt like a lightning bolt struck his mind.
"That's it, man I'm an idiot....this whole time I was trying my Yin and Yang energies at the same time to separate them...."
Hearing what the older kid said to Mimi, it's suddenly came to Jin, he doesn't need to control both his energies to stop producing chakra, all he has to do, control the Yin energy because he noticed that it easier to control than his physical energy and more flexible.
"If i stop my spiritual energy, my physical energy alone would be useless in creating chakra, and all I have to do after that is wait for my already created chakra to be consumed"
Planned Jin, silently Happy he only has a meager amount of chakra.
Standing up, Jin walked towards his room, by now it is a normal thing in the orphanage, seeing Jin heading to his room probably to sleep.
When he was asked why he sleeps a lot, of course when his brain doesn't force him to sleep, he simply replied, I like it.
Jin got to admit with the first spark of his chakra, his brain is coping more easily with his memories.
At most, Jin thinks that by the end of this month, he will be a normal kid, well, if he didn't achieve the first step of his practice.
If he did, it will be a long road ahead of him, to obtain the status of a normal kid.
Reaching his room, Jin slowly lay in his bed, take a deep breath and closed his eyes.
" Here goes nothing!"
Jin started putting a Leash on his Yin energy, jailing his energy in his brain.
He Struggled really hard to do it, it was like a bull on a rampage.
But at least, slowly the Yin energy started receding back to his brain.
It was a tedious and long process, yet Jin hardened his will and kept going.
It took him an hour and a half to to jail and stop his Yin energy from exiting the brain region.
"Haaah...haaah... now...I just wait..."
By now, Jin's body is completely wet from sweat.
Breathing ruggedly, he closed his eyes and kept his control in check.

Slowly, Jin started to feel like a piece of butter exposed to the sun.
He felt his body melting, the pain was nothing, he could easily handle it.
What bothered him the most, was the nausea and the weakness in his whole body.
By the time the last few wisps of chakra we're consumed by his body, Jin was deathly pale.
Following the depletion of his chakra, Jin's body started trembling, he was barely breathing.
It got worse and worse, after 30 seconds he felt his control over the Yin energy loosening, he tried to hold on more, but 10 seconds later he lost control.
The Yin energy, broke out of his brain like a tsunami, few seconds later the symptoms plaguing his body started to get better.
Taking huge gulps of air, he was like a drowning man who got a new chance in life.
"Haaah...haaah, that by far the worst feeling I ever had in my both lives, haaah...,it felt like my body was burden, I just want to get rid of"
After 40 seconds of extreme discomfort, put a smile on his face, this is considered a step forward for him, regardless of the pain or weakness he experienced.
