19 The Last Straw Which Breaks the Camel's Back

Even if Jasmine was brave, in front of men so strong and frightening, she had gone to hide behind Daniel. Daniel was surprised by the reaction and didn't know what to do either. He was doing well in martial arts, but to the point of confronting so many men all of a sudden, it was beyond his abilities. In addition, he didn't know if they were unarmed. At that time, he regretted not having insisted more on not skipping classes or at least asking for help from an adult.

In the end, of the group, only Jae Hyun was comfortable. Perhaps even a little too much to Emma's taste, as she had started to pull his sleeve up to signal him to back off face to the danger.

To be honest, Jae Hyun would have preferred not to come, but knowing his friends, he knew that trying to convince them would be pointless. He had therefore decided to follow them without fuss in order to be able to help them if necessary. Nevertheless, he did not expect them to get into trouble as soon they entered the dark district.

The one who seemed to be the leader of the group began to speak in a hoarse and cold voice.

"Who are you calling an asshole bitch?"

Jasmine swallowed her saliva and as if wings had grown on her back since she felt safe, she replied assuredly.

"I wasn't talking about you, but about someone who sent us a message."

The man completely ignored her. Obviously, he didn't care about his answer and had only come to look for the fight.

Jae Hyun, in turn, moved forward, taking care to stand in front of the group so that they could protect them if necessary before talk.

"First of all, you should treat a woman well in the way you talk to her. Then, I need to know who the leader of this district is? We need to talk."

Daniel shuddered and took Jae Hyun's arm to bring him closer. He could not believe that Jae Hyun could be so brave and reckless at the same time.

The leader on the other side looked at him in amazement before laughing and turning around to his 10 acolytes.

"We need to talk~" The guy had taken a mocking voice. "Hahahaha. I'm dying."

He stopped laughing before look at Jae Hyun seriously.

"And what do a group of kids from a rich school wants to him?"

Suddenly, a man in his thirties sitting at a table with a glass in his hand put it down before approaching the crowd. He was well-built and had a sharp, deep, black look that could freeze anyone. His height of 1m90 didn't help either to repel this overwhelming aura. Once in front of Jae Hyun, he looked like a man bullying a child. The man remained serene before speaking to Jae Hyun.

"Are you the leader?" asked Jae Hyun.

The guy had a smirk on his face.

"You have the eye. Yeah, that's me. And what do you want from me?"

Jae Hyun made Lea's picture appear and slid it towards him.

"Do you know this girl? We want to know who she met here."

He quickly looked at the picture before sending it back to him and looking casual.

"Who knows? Maybe yes, maybe no. And even if that were the case, why do you care? Your girlfriend? Haha."

The guy's mens started laughing too.

Jae Hyun was already at the end of his rope in front of the situation that was unfolding, so he didn't have the patience to get into their game. He was proud of his patience, but when he saw injustices happening before his eyes, it would get away with a snap of a finger. However, since his arrival in Heaven, his patience had already been quite worn out and the man's reaction in front of him was unbearable to him. That was the last straw that broke the camel's back.

Before he even realized it, his body had moved on its own, and he had punched forward. The man avoided him and smiled delightedly.

As if they had waited for this moment, the other mens rushed into the group ready to fight.

Jae Hyun backed away and stood in front of them. Daniel joined him and put himself in a fighting position. The man, for his part, went to sit in his seat again to enjoy the show while drinking.

Jae Hyun had confidence in his techniques, but fighting effectively against so many opponents at once was painful even for him. He admitted that he regretted a bit that he had given in to temptation. Just imagining that a girl had experienced such injustice and thinking about his growing little sister who could have been in her place in a few years had made him untenable.

Jae Hyun and Daniel had managed to repel the attacks, but one man had managed to sneak in. As he was about to hit Tiffany, the man passed out. Someone had hit him in the head with his elbow.

Among the chaoses, Jae Hyun saw him and for a moment he thought he was dreaming.

"So Won?"
