1 It's time to awaken it

John Vincent, a normal high school student, lived in New York with his father and mother. His dad was named David Vincent and his mom Sarah Vincent. He was an average student with a keen interest in mind-boggling topics like space exploration, time travel and extra terrestrial beings.

"Come down for dinner John", his mom shouted. He shutted his computer down and headed towards the dining hall. While having dinner, his dad asked him, "Are you feeling something weird?"

"No, but why are you asking this suddenly?", John replied.

"No, Well.....I mean...you are an adolescent. It's natural to feel different feelings. Just share with us if you feel off.", he laughed weirdly.

"Come on, dear....let him eat properly now. You can talk about this later on.", mom added.

"I have no problem. If I had I'd have shared with you. Anyway, let me eat first. I am feeling sleepy.", John replied to his dad's question. After having dinner, he went to his room and threw himself on the bed.

The next day, he headed off to his school. On his way to school, he was thinking about a dream he had last night. He saw a mysterious figure saying, "It's time to awaken it" in his dream. He was lost in his thought when his friend Sam, called him out.

"John, how many times do I have to call you, dude. You are lost on your own world.", Sam complained.

"Well, nothing. I was thinking what if you were an alien lost in this world.", he replied.

Sam replied, "Bro, stop with your weird and crazy Sci-fi fantasies. Anyway, have you completed Mrs. Rebecca's assignment. It's due today."

John stopped suddenly with shocked expression on his face.

"No!....I completely forgot about it. I was completely into that time travel anime called 'Steins;Gate'. Come on!.....I wish I could go back in time just like shown in that series.", John was worried.

He survived that day's assignment checking by an well thought out excuse. This was one of the few things that he was good at. Mrs. Rebecca had given him another month to submit his assignment.

A month had passed and he still hadn't completed his assignment. He spent more of his time thinking about what excuse he should make next rather than actually doing the assignment. Even on his way to school, he was thinking about an excuse. He was lost in his thoughts. Suddenly he heard a loud horn of a truck. He was startled. He looked around to see a truck approaching him at high speed. It seemed like it was his final moment. His entire life flashed infront of his eyes. The truck approached him.

He opened his eyes slowly. His breathing came back to normal. The truck had stopped. He was still alive. He looked around to see every vehicle stopped. Each and everyone had stopped as if time itself had stopped.

He looked at his to find the time stopped. His eyes were wide open. His breathing became shallow again.

The time itself had stopped.
