Beyond Level

Ryusei lived a fairly normal life in his previous world. He was an introverted yet kind-hearted person, always quick to help those in need. One day, despite having a loving family and good friends, he suddenly ended up committing suicide due to the pressure of his studies and academic obligations. Little did he know that his tragic end would lead to a new and exciting chapter in his life, one where he would find himself reincarnated into a new world of demons.

Ryusei's eyes fluttered open as a sense of confusion and uncertainty washed over him. "Hello?" he called out into the dark, his voice echoing down the dim corridor.

"There you are," said a distorted voice, the source of it not yet apparent. "You're late, kid." Ryusei flinched at the sudden interruption, turning to face the demon who had just spoken to him. It was a demon unlike any he had seen before, its body shrouded in a dark cloak.

"Who are you?" Ryusei asked cautiously, gripping his wrists tightly as he looked at the demon.

The demon chuckled darkly, its deep voice echoing in the shadows. "You're not gonna believe this, kid, but I'm Satan."

Ryusei's mouth dropped open, his eyes widening in disbelief. "You're... the devil?" he asked, trying to wrap his head around this strange situation.

"That's right," the demon said with a smile. "I'm Satan, and I have an offer for you."

"What kind of offer?" Ryusei asked, still struggling to believe what he'd just heard.

"I'm giving you a chance to become the new Demon King," Satan replied. "You only need to go back to your world and claim the throne. And it's all yours."

Ryusei was stunned by this revelation. He had never expected to find himself in the presence of a demon lord, let alone be offered such an opportunity. But he had to admit, the prospect of becoming the Demon King was tempting. "How do I do that?" he asked.

"Simple," Satan said as he held out his hand, a glowing crimson-red key hovering above his palm. "Take this key, and it'll grant you passage back to your world. Once there, you'll be able to claim your throne."

Ryusei hesitated for a moment, unsure if he could trust this demon. After all, he was the devil himself. But he also couldn't ignore the opportunity in front of him, and a part of him wanted to give it a try.

"I'll take it," he said finally, stepping forward to take the key from Satan.
