Once this though was born in his mind ,he immediately knew that the city is done for !
their fate has already been sealed.
King beasts are called that for a reason , they are the pinnacle of strength a monster can reach !
however ,king beasts are so rare that it could take hundreds if not thousands of years for one to be born. and the conditions needed for one to be born are so unlikely that it might as well be impossible.
but Once they are born and safely mature ,they can stand equal to humans ! because their intelligence becomes similar to humans !
they also get the ability to transform their bodies to humanoid shape and they can talk and learn just like humans !
And because they are beasts ,they get the advantages of having special abilities and skills ,and that renders them more dreadful !
with a terrifying gaze ,the king swept through the scared crowd. no one dared to even move a muscle , everyone , including the guards were rooted to their positions !
"lowly humans ! you dare steal my energy core that took me three thousand years of painstaking work to nurture !! if i don't annihilate this city then i am no longer a king !"
a crazed hoarse voice escaped the fangs of the king as his eyes cast a bloodshot ray to the onlookers! , his voice alone, that was carried by a deathly aura ,can send people into despair!
the Energy core that the king was talking about ,also known as beast cores, are the most valuable possession wild beasts have.
cores have different shapes and colors , depending on the type of the beast and their special abilities. however ,they are usually a light gray crystal that forms at the forehead of wild beasts.
however , only very few wild beasts can produce a core , even amongst king beasts !
but the crucial part is that cores are necessary for a beast to undergo it's next transformation to breakthrough and become even powerful !
so it goes without saying how precious it is.
beasts consider their cores like their life ,they are willing to fight to death anyone who dares to even touch it, let alone take it away.
"e-energy c-core ,did someone stole it's core.
who would be this insane to steal from a king beast ,and a core at that !!!" thought uncle spear as he listened to the Agjim talk.
Once he understood what the king meant and the reason it showed up here ,he knew there's no escape from this calamity. he knew everyone is dead beyond redemption.
only 15 seconds passed since the King has shown itself , thousands of thoughts and plans crossed the mind of uncle Spear ,but sadly everyone ended with the same outcome ,a city of corps !
he thought of all the citizens that lives here , their children ,the newborn babies ,and then thinking of the inevitable fate ,he felt his heart clenching ,he felt pain in his chest.
he was too weak to change the destiny of his beloved city and their inhabitants.
however , something still clicked in his mind ,he remembered that time when the herd of beasts attacked , he had This same feeling. A primordial feeling, an urge that was engraved deep down in his heart ,an urge to protect !
he suddenly gripped his Spear tightly ,with veins bulging from his arm.
then he took one step ,then one more ,and then he started running like a madman towards the king beast !!
"aaaahhhhhhhh ,die you filthy beast !!" with a crazed cry ,he jumped like a lion who lost it's children !
uncle Spear knew that sending his spear, even with all his power won't even leave a scratch on the beast , since it ripped the iron hard gate easily with just it's flesh and skin. so his only option was to attack directly in hopes of leaving an injury !
"hmm ,a weak fly is ruining my sight, go die"
turning it's body slightly , Agjim king attacked with it's tail ,it wouldn't even qualify as attacking ,the beast just moved it's tail towards the crazy uncle Spear.
uncle Spear didn't even see the tail ,he was in midair with his spear only a few centimeters away from piercing the body of the king.
When suddenly he felt an agonizing pain throughout his entire body ,then he was sent flying half dead like an arrow.his spear was broken in half.
BAANG !
He crushed heavily on the city wall before he bounced back to finally land on the hard floor.
it was unsure if he is dead or alive ,but his crushed body that was painted with blood meant that he probably won't survive.
Everyone shuddered seeing this .
at first ,the people here were scared because the gate was destroyed ,but they were aware of the existance of powerful beasts ,and the gate can be repaired and be even improved.
the second thing that made them terrified was the appearance and the deathly aura of this monster ,but then, what beast wasn't scarry? even if this beast was scarry ,they can still tolerate that ,also ,a few years from now no one will find this appearance scarry because everyone will get used to it.
However , once uncle Spear died ,this was not the same as the gate being destroyed or the other guards dying.
everyone here regards uncle Spear as the pillar that protects them , their hero , their pride !
it was at this moment that they realized this was not some situation where some normal beast gets killed by the guards ,and they applaud to them ,but the complete opposite ,this was a situation where they will get butchered and be eaten alive by this monster !
"hahahaha.. this day you lowly humans ,Will witness the wrath of this king !" said the Agjim king with a sinister laugh.
"waiter ,give me the check please". not very far from the crowd ,a male voice was heard.
amidst this tense and horrifying atmosphere , strangely, everyone clearly heard it.
The more shocking fact was that the suffocating pressure that filled the air vanished like smoke !
Inside a restaurant near the destroyed gate ,on a table sat an ordinary man ,if not for him speaking at this crucial moment, no one would have noticed him setting there !
the most noticable thing about his average statue was that his hair was oddly light blue in color ,but not just that ,inside his eye sockets resides two pupils that were radiating a mysterious azure light !
