3 Danger
After seeing the content of the scroll, The young lady entered a deep though.
Baobao has a face full of questions ,but as she looked at her master ,she felt it was inappropriate to ask since her master has a grave look on her face.
Unable to suppress her urge , baobao finally broke the serious atmosphere.
"Hehe ,my lovely young master , don't be this serious. It's just a mere secret mission. Just kill that nameless guy 'run long' or whatever ,does he think he is all mighty just because his name was on the secret mission ! I bet master can take him out with a single sword strike ! Humph " with a sneer at the end ,baobao voiced her mind.She even raised her fluffy tail to show her disdain.
"Baobao ,stop being silly. The mere fact that the organization pays him so much attention to the point of sending a spirit pigeon proves that this Renlong is extraordinary ! Let's not get careless.. alright , let's follow the usual procedure for the missions" the young lady Was now more relaxed.
The young lady then walked towards the door and baobao followed obediently behind her like a little kitten.
Soon ,The two Ladies got out of the house,
the house was a simple three story wood house ,and near it was a beautiful blue lake ,with various plants surrounding it. Many red and blue roses scattered throughout the scene.the sun rays reflected from the lake gave it a magical touch.
Standing there ,with butterflies flying around ,the two beauties looked like two fairies who just came out of a painting, truly out of the world of mortals !
After walking for a few minutes ,the two Ladies reached a field of green grass ,but in the middle of this field, a 3 meters high tree could be spotted.
This tree looked ordinary from afar ,but when one got close to it , One would be surprised because this tree had ancient patterns engraved all over it !
This tree is actually a teleportation tree . It is very expensive and uses lots of rare materials to use it . But the cool thing about it is that it could teleport people to very far distances within a few moments!
After arriving at the tree ,Baobao reached to her side to open her small bag.
This bag looked like an ordinary leather bag, however ,it is actually a treasure called cosmos bag. It's a spirit artifact that is able to hold 5 cubic meters of empty space within it. But one must be a strong martial artist that can manipulate Qi to be able to use it. Otherwise even if it fell in the hands of an ordinary human ,it would be useless to them.
With a though from baobab ,the comos bag started shining ,and then a stone that was twice as big as the bag appeared in air, baobao then used Both her hands to hold this stone.
This stone is also a rare material, it can store Qi energy naturally inside it and is used to activate spirit treasures like this teleportation tree.some martial artists even use it to train and become more powerful!
The stone also has ancient engravings all over it ,and those those engravings determine the quality of the stone.
"Sigh ,it really pains me to use this high quality stone ! Master why can't we just fly over there, it would be more cheap !" Complained baobao as she looked at the stone in her hands as if she was looking at her child.
"Stop your nonesense ,baobao this is an important mission. We need to get to the meeting location quickly ,and flying there would take us at least half a day of flying !" Said the young lady with a calm tone.
Baobao cursed in her head ,how unlucky she was.
the moment her master returned was the moment a high mission was issued ,now she doesn't have any time to be with her master. If only this mission wasn't that important ! If only this ren my ass didn't show up !
Baobao was very annoyed and felt that this unknown figure was the reason she's about to loose her priceless stone.
However ,Without any more hesitation ,she put the stone near the trunk of the tree. She then made a sign with her hand, the runes on the stone started to dissipate until it was all wiped out ,few moments later, with a flashing green light ,both of them disappeared !

A few kilometers away from the ' thousand deaths peaks' is the location of a big city , it's name is Afra city . This city is the destination of many travelers since it's the only human civilization one can find near ' thousands death peaks ' ,and so it's usually the meeting point of many people from different places.
inside the city is very lively , especially during this time of the day ,where one can see many shops opened. and find virtually anything they need here ,be it food or a place to stay. thus the city became a vital point in this region.
Afra city is surrounded by a huge wall ,4 meters in thickness and 20 meters tall !
if one can climb a big mountain inside ' thousand deaths peaks ' ,they would definitely be able to see this wall !
the two huge gates looked like two giant mountains protecting the two entrances.
Although all these measures might seem exaggerated but this barley can hold the low level beasts outside !
but from time to time ,a beast can get inside the city and cause a huge destruction ,and possibly kill so many people !
Unfortunately, this day was one of those times.and none of the people shopping here knew that a catastrophe was about to fall upon them !
the city has two main gates ,one on the north and the other one on the south.
on the north gate ,a middle-aged guard wearing a black uniform was standing besides it straight like a pilar. he had thick eyebrows and a straight nose, he was tall and muscular. although he stood there for half a day ,his face didn't show any expression of being tired. he wielded a spear with both hands in front of him as if he is ready to pierce anything that threatened the safety of the city.
this man is the number one expert in this city , everyone knows him by 'uncle Spear' and no one knows his real name, even though he always has this stern expression on his face and he doesn't usually talk much , everyone in the city knows and respect him from their heart. the reason for that is that he saved them many times from the fangs of death !
when he was in his twenties ,he was only a regular gate guard ,and one time, a herd of wild beasts attacked the city ,when everyone was panicking and filled with despair ,he bravely got out of the city and closed the gate behind him to welcome the incoming beasts. he faugh all night and singlehandedly slaughtered the beasts. on the next morning he became the hero and the protector of the city. everyone offered him a better job ,and even the mayor of the city asked him to be the chief knight. but he refused all of that and stayed a gate guard.
as uncle spear was staring in the direction of the ' thousand deaths peaks ' ,his pupils suddenly shrunk to the size of a needle and he frantically ordered the people and the other guards
" Everyone listen to me ! there's a beast coming ! follow the procedures !"
everyone shuddered when they Heard that , even though they didn't see anything attacking them ,they could question anything except uncle spear! so immediately the other guards started leading people who are still outside to the inside of the city ,after witch they begin closing the huge gate.
since the huge steel gate was at least dozen tons ,it would take around 30 seconds to be fully closed.
