4 3. The Town

It had felt like an eternity had passed for Bex. First came selling the water witch always took the longest. The village had to make sure to get enough to cover food and maintenance equipment so they could continue to survive and make credits. The town they were in always tried to low ball but would give in eventually because everyone needs water regardless of race.

After the bartering was complete came the food shopping then maintenance equipment and other essentials. Every time they left a shop or stall Bex felt his heart race a bit faster and his impatience rise until he was practically dancing in the street.

"If you have to use the bathroom I think there is one back there." Albi said.

" I don't have to pee I just can't wait until we get to the droid traders"

"Who told you we were going there?" Albi asked with a glint of mischief in her eye.

"Father said we would go if I scored well on my test and worked well. I aced the test and I work harder than you so I know we are going." Bex responded trying not to smirk seeing he hit a nerve.

"Yea well they are all going to be to expensive and you won't get anything you little shit!"

"ALBI!" Bex's mother yelled as Albi's face turned red.

"Sorry mother" Albi said with a shamed look on her face.

"Bex lets go" Father said

Bex about jumped out of his skin with anticipation.
