"You still won't talk to me, I see," Kaede frustratedly sighed as he approached Yuki, who was washing the dishes.

"What are you talking about?" Yuki asked, still irritated from the incident with the red-haired lady Kaede had been flirting with earlier.

Kaede didn't respond, just suddenly hugged her from behind.

She felt her whole world turn upside down when he suddenly carried her and let her hang on his shoulders.

"Where are you taking me? Put me down!" Yuki shouted from the top of her lungs, though aware that the nearest neighbor was probably far away from them.

She felt herself being thrown into the river, her clothes drenched in cold water.

"Are you still a hotheaded fool?" Kaede grinned at her, his eyes full of unspoken mischief.

"I'm not hot-headed, I'm freezing!" Yuki shouted, trying to fight the river current as it forced her down.
