Chapter 1-Crystal Tears

|Mc Pov|

Standing there my face began to change, while i thought on the past and what i knew of this world. The morning sun peeked over the mountains, as shadow and fire mixed in a hypnotic dance. Fugaku looked at my face change, seeing a more lonely look then before. To him though he pushed it away, amazed at what he was seeing.

My eyes mixed well with the shadows of the morning sun that started to greet the world. A deep shining red while 2 tomoe rotated in my eyes.

'Is that why shinobi fight? Is it truly worth dying for your village? What if there is other things? If you do not take up the sword for your village then what are you? Are you treated as less then the village as a whole? If you fight and die for something outside what is best for your village are you a villain? In the same right, if you pick the lives of the many over the few and even your own family. In accordance with sacrificing for your village, are you a hero?.. so, many questions.' I thought, looking at itachi run to me.

"Oketsu! Your eyes are you ok?" Itachi spoke, looking me over as he saw the bloody kunai in my hands.

"Yes itachi, I'm just tired.. are you ok?" My eyes changed while I looked over itachi.

"Yeah, that girl.." itachi looked down at the girls body and questioned. Seeing me only shake my head with a sad smile.

"Oketsu, itachi.. come. We need to move before any other shinobi follow." Fugaku crossed his arms and spoke. Thinking of how this happened.

Ignoring him for a moment, I put her kunai away. Itachi watched and saw the name etched onto its blade. Seeing me reach down to the girl, and picking her up. While i heard fugaku speak.

"What are you doing Oketsu.. leave the girls body here.." fugaku looked at me with a strange look as his voice changed.

"No.." I said looking at his eyes.

"Oketsu I said.." fugaku walked over to me, his eyes more serious until he saw my own.

"This girl died for a reason.. she has no one else, I will not leave her to lay here in the dirt." Looking up at him, my eyes were not stressed or angry but a low lonely feeling came off from them.

Fugaku not understanding at least knew what my eyes meant. Hearing my words he let me pass him, stopping itachi who wanted to follow.

"Father.." itachi spoke looking up at Fugaku.

"Just come with me, with the others. What your brother is doing. Is something he has to deal with alone." Fugaku watched my back as everything was white around me. Seeing me hold her body as I walked pass the Uchiha to a clearing.

"You will be with her again, I know it.." after burying her body, I used her Kunai to carve a stone. Not knowing her name I put a few words of our conversation on them. Placing it on top of the dirt.

'Everything to see her again..' was written as I bowed and moved back, itachi and the others looked at my back. Most Uchiha didn't understand, it was a enemy but itachi had a different look in his eyes.

'What is a village? What is a shinobi? Why do we fight and die like this. Even kids are not spared, huh Oketsu? Are you thinking the same.' Itachi saw as I walked over to him, tapping his forehead as I let out what smile I could.

"Together?" I spoke in a low voice.

"Together." Itachi spoke as we moved with the clan members into the forest.

|land of snow, flash back before the girl died|

Laying in bed, sun light crept in as it washed over purple sheets that laid on the bed. The covers moved as someone tossed and turned. Small cry's could be heard, the word no, no, no. Was heard over and over as the person moved around.

The door to the room was opened as a figure walked in, hearing the noise they walked over to the bed slowly. Sitting in a chair next to it, a soft hand reached out. About to pull the covers back, while the person who laid there shot up.

"No! Stop!" A cute voice was heard, along with pretty black hair that danced, the sun reflecting off of it, giving it a beautiful glow.

The person beside the bed saw this, a long with the crystals that floated in the air, from the tears running down the girls cheeks. The girls eyes closed while hands reached out and held on to her.

"*shh, it's just a bad dream. . . I'm right here.. shh, mothers got you." A woman's voice spoke, trying to calm them.

The girls eyes moved around while closed, seeing images flash in her mind. A battle, people crying, a young girl and bloody hands. Holding her own up while she looked at the blood on them. Before it went dark, in the darkness red flashed as the girls eyes shot open.

"Mom! I'm scared!" The girl looked up, seeing her mother there, being held closer as the woman looked down. Her eyes opening, she saw the blood red eyes of the girl, glowing in the shadows of the window in the room.

"It's ok honey, mother is here.. I'm not going anywhere." The woman said again, pulling the girl more into her arms. Rubbing her head while she tried to calm her, closing her eyes to the truth of what she didn't want to tell her daughter.

'Please.. Not now.. She's mine.' the mother thought, kissing her child's forehead while she made plans in her mind.

Soon the girl fell asleep again, her eyes no longer red. The Mother closed the door softly, walking down the dark hall, which felt like it was closing in on her. Shaking her thoughts and opening the door to her room. Slowly stepping across the room near a large dresser and taking some time to move it a little. Pulling out a few things before walking to the front door, looking at the beautiful white that covered the land.

"I promised I'd keep her safe, she is my daughter.. I will not let this change that.. for this hateful clan." The mother said in the back yard, the snow drifting while the wind blew. The crackling of a small fire went off, ashes floated up as a piece of fabric burned. It floated up as it broke apart while the white and red mark faded.

While Crystal like tears fell into the snow, looking up to the sky, while the snow began to fall again.
