Chalice: A country so entwined with nature that even their very homes are grown from the surrounding woods. In all the lands, there is a force that stands above all, acting as law maker and executioner. Gifted with extraordinary abilities to manipulate nature, to control of magical beasts, and strengthened by a variety of mystical bloodlines, they rule as absolute in the forests and hills; stretching from Chalice’s great expanse until the great desert to the east. These rulers are aptly known as the Gardeners, caretakers of the realm; and are surrounded by mystery. Sain was born into servitude in such a world.
