7 Lesson

~Kingdom Talamh Naofa, year 515 of the new era.

Chiya had her coffee alone as usual, when she arrived in the kitchen the cook was still there, so she could still talk to her for a while, but soon the woman had to continue her duties, leaving the girl.

She had nothing to complain about, everyone treated her exceptionally, but the feeling of loneliness was still present, after all, most of the time she was really alone, even with so many people working at home.

"Miss, are you done eating?" A masculine and familiar voice can be heard from behind her.

Turning back she sees an elf, just as Lasrilan's hair was long, it reached her shoulders, and blondes, which meant that her magic was stronger when compared to the average population. He wasn't as tall as most elves, he was just over a metre and seventy in height, his light brown eyes seemed to match perfectly with his skin tone.

"Master Bregfan, good morning." Chiya answers with a smile.

Although the maids called him 'tutor', the word 'master' fitted better. He was responsible for the magical education of the royal family, his last student had been nothing more than Lasrilan, among the elves is the strongest magician of today, raising doubts of who would be stronger, she or her mother, the first queen.

"Usually you're always late, I'm really surprised you're ready" The elf speaks as it sits in front of you.

The hall that they were in had a big table that crossed it almost entirely, the furniture seemed old, but very well preserved and of great quality, a luxury that only a nobleman could enjoy.

"Will we have our class right here?" Chiya asks a little confused, usually her classes would be in the study room that was earlier.

"Wiltra told me he's going to clean up the study room, it looks like your majesty was using it in the morning, so it's a little messy." Explains the tutor by placing a suitcase, which the girl had not seen, on the table. "Today we'll have elven language classes, then a little demonic language review."

As soon as she hears what class is about, the girl lets out a sigh. She loves to study language, but to be honest, it wasn't her favorite subject, she's been asking for some time for classes to become more practical, she wanted to use magic, but....

"You still don't have what it takes to get into practice. I know it's very good in theory, but it's still not good enough in elves, maybe in a year or two we can..." Bregfan starts talking, but realizes he was losing interest in his student.

To say it would take another two years would only make her even more demotivated.

"I've got an idea. How about if we focus on language now, and if you show that you're getting better, I'll give you some basic magic lessons?" She couldn't even finish her right sentence, the girl was already looking at him with bright eyes.

"Promise me I'll be able to use magic if I study hard?" Chiya asks to make sure she'd heard right.

"Yes, I promise." With a smile on his face the elf takes some papers out of his suitcase. He had captured the attention of his student completely.

Bregfan has always liked to teach, if he didn't like it he wouldn't be in this profession, after all, he has the potential to be a first-class wizard in the army, but he has never been interested in pursuing a military career, even though he may have more benefits in the field.

The feeling of being able to see the growth of his students was extremely rewarding, he had students like Lasrilan, geniuses who quickly mastered the magic and even overcame it, but Tsaichiya was different, he felt that there was something special about this little child. Different from her guardian the girl was no genius, in fact she was quite average, but her enthusiasm and effort was not behind anyone, this was her greatest quality.

The only problem was a strange feeling I had in teaching her, it was as if something was holding her back, as if she couldn't reach her full potential, I didn't know why, maybe some effect of the tests that were performed in Bettegarden or who knows a trauma, can be so many things.

"Master, how do you read that part?" Chiya cuts off her thoughts with a question.

Returning to reality he looks at the girl and soon after at the paper in her hand. After answering his question he looks inside his suitcase again, inside it was a device like a bracelet, how could he have forgotten something like that?

This was a prototype that was given to him by the intelligence leader, who had been asked to perform some tests to see how accurate the device was. From what was explained it was a magical power meter, it was more sophisticated than those used today, if what was said is right is a technology that not even the demons possess. Is it all right for a teacher like him to carry something as important as this?

"That just means they trust me..." The words end up coming out of your mouth while you're thinking.

"Master? Are you all right today?" Chiya asks noting the strange attitude of her guardian.

"Yes, I am, I'm sorry for that, I was just thinking of something else." Turning his attention completely to his student the class seems to start really at this moment, he explains how to pronounce the sentences he was most doubtful.

Wiltra was tidying up the study room during this time, normally he wouldn't touch the documents of his highness, but this time it would be problematic to leave them dropped in that place, looking quickly at the papers he could see that a big part of them referred to Tsaichiya, thanks to this it would be a big problem to leave them in this place, the girl could end up picking something up.

"What are you doing?" A voice comes from your side.

The human takes a fright and jumps to the side, unlike the elves her senses are not so keen, so she was easily surprised by them. However, he manages to calm down when he realizes who he was, Mielvare was staring at her.

"Just to get some documents from your highness, it would be problematic if Miss Tsaichiya were to take any of them." He responds by trying to calm down after the scare.

"I see, you didn't read what was written, did you?" The elf asks with a serious face.

"Of course not, I would never dare touch anything of my lady." Wiltra answers immediately, but a certain nervousness could be noticed coming from her.

"I'm just making sure that information doesn't leak, it's very important stuff." Completely staring at it. "I won't question you anymore, just get on with your work." He talks and then turns and walks towards the exit.

The woman moves only after he finally disappears from her sight.

"Why is he here?" That doubt arises in your mind.
