As they stood their in awe at Lucious uttering his name for all those to hear, he lifted his head to meet the weaken gaze of the king, to only smile kindly.

"If I may ask..what happened to your nation?"

Lucious Spoke firmly. This however provoked one of the nobles.

"Know your place commoner you may be the summoned hero, but your majesty is far above your status-"

"I wasn't talking to you..I was speaking to his majesty..now if you wouldn't mind…shhh~"

Lucious placed his right index finger over his mouth implying for the nobleman to stay silent. All the nobleman could do was stand their in complete silence allowing his pride to be overshadowed by this young man's seemingly discreet strength.

The king let out a deep sigh and began to explain their current situation. Even going as far as to state.

"We may have to sacrifice some of the nation's citizens to insure our royal bloodline doesn't end here, that way we may preserve our legacy's safety"

The noblemen all nodded and chatted in agreement while. Lucious looked up and chuckled and spoke out.

"..hah…hahaha..you'd save your own miserable linages..and graciously throw the lives of your beloved citizens to the ways eye?…how deplorable"

The noblemen grew tired of Lucious's on going insults. Lucious then began to walk over to the steps leading up to the throne where the king sat. And began his rebuttal against the kings & noblemen's philosophy.

"If you want to preserve this nations future…you have the right mentality, but lack the right methods…what you need isn't a hero…but a better campaigner"

After making his way up meeting face to face with the king and giving his thoughts on the matter at hand. The king sat there thinking long and hard all the while trying to avoid Lucious overwhelming gaze.

"M-my lord please don't listen to this fool, he may be our savior, but he is still a child no less"

"H-he's right my lord please don't consider his offer…"

The noblemen one after another pleaded with their king. While he continued to contemplate, until suddenly Lucious spoke once more.

"..their right it's not my place to decide things for you..but if you want to achieve any kind of peace and or victory against the Demon King..I suggest you think over my offer…then again I really don't care what you choose"

He spoke while he walked back down the stairs making his way to leave the throne room. Each step he took created an echo through the large vast room, and with each echoing step caused the king to stress and overthink profoundly.

"If we do things your way, what would that achieve?!"

The king asked aloud before Lucious could leave the room. He then turned around still smiling, and he spoke.

"Peace.."

One word is all he said leaving everyone in the throne room amidst. Yet at the same time each and everyone of them turned their attention to their king for his final answer.

The king let out a frail sigh, and looked over to Lucious who continued to smile gently.

"Very well, hear me all who came to this audience, I hear by grant our summoned hero, Lucious Von. Foster,-"

But before he could finish Lucious interrupted him by raising his hand. The king and everyone els stopped to see what he had to say.

"I don't need any fancy titles nor do I need any sign of respect from any of you. The peace you all so desperately want, and the right to feel free. I'll gladly aid you to reach such a aspiration…"

The soldiers talked amongst themselves, while the nobles looked on in frustration of Lucious's countless rude clarifications. The king on the other hand nodded his head in agreement.

"So then we have your-"

"But…"

"..hm?…"

Lucious gave a cold blank gaze over at the king. The king felt a wave of unease wash over him, this feeling of sanguinity coming from someone so young frightened him to his core as well as the nobles who looked on.

"I expect some compensation for my efforts, you all did bring me to your world . And by force no less, without my consent~"

Lucious gave his ultimatum for exchange of something of equal value. The kings eyes widen, but at the same time understood his reasoning. The king got up from his throne and bowed his head to the surprise of the soldiers and nobles.

"Please..forgive our rudeness, we may have stripped you away from loved ones and the world you originate from…so I'll gladly compensate you for your efforts from here on out…"

Lucious hid his devious grin. The king raised his head and thought for a moment to think of what may best suit their hero's needs, till suddenly it dawned on him. Lucious noticed the kings strange happy behavior.

"Sir Foster, I may not have the right payment but I do have another form of compensation, how would you feel of taking my daughter as your convoy?"

Lucious eyes widen taking him by surprise, while the noblemen stood their contemplating the kings rash decision making.

"..you have a daughter huh? Then if I may be bold enough to ask, what are some of her strong points and limitations?."

The king nodded and spoke vigorously about his daughter.

"She's a prodigy, mastering magic at the age of 15, and she's a great archeologist, anything leaning on the basis of magic and history are topics she excels in..but however her combative abilities have much to be desired"

Lucious took a minute to think it over someone with the abilities to use magic with ease and knowledge of this world, he couldn't pass an opportunity and advantage like this up.

"One last thing..what's her opinion on forbidden magic?.."

The king stood their dumbfounded. Lucious figured, before the audience ever happened he took the time to look around the castle and talk with the various soldiers and knights. It would appear forbidden magic is a form of magic utilized in the darken arts, this form of magic was made by beings known as

'The Nameless Gods'.

"M-my daughter has a kind of hate for that kind of magic..it was the kind that took her mother and my late wife the queen away from us all…"

Lucious thought carefully and strategically to make his next move. He grinned and looked over at the king once more.

" ..then I guess I'll be taking your daughter as my convoy …"

The kings eyes lit up with great pleasure. But Lucious continued his cold gaze cutting the kings short joy. Lucious took a deep breath and exhaled, looking down at the ground fixating his cold gaze away from the king to only speak with a stern cold voice.

"..however, her hate for that magic may prove to be an obstacle..one she'll have no choice but to overcome..even if I have to..I'll force her to see past it"

Cold sweat dripped form the soldiers faces as well as the noblemen. The king slowly nodded, and Lucious smiled kindly.

…..

Time would pass and the sun would start to set. Lucious would be on one of the rooftops of the castle sitting there admiring the view smiling to himself. However this moment was interrupted by a simple.

"Excuse me!, Sir Lucious!"

A voice called out to him it sounded feminine, he'd turn around and looked down from the rooftop seeing a girl.

She wore a armored plated chest, her dress showed vibrate colors of red white and black, her eyes crystal blue as the bright sky, her hair long and dark as night, a short skirt, and armor boots and black lace leggings.

She'd also held a book, it was the thing that caught Lucious's attention the most..a few words slipped through his mouth before heading down to her.

"..a grimoire huh?…"

Lucious would make his way down to to meet the girl, she stared at Lucious almost admiring something. Lucious then had the idea of placing his palm on her cheek.

"W-what are you doing?!"

She stepped backwards a bit taken back by Lucious's sudden action. He smiled once more at her, then looked at his palm.

"..your skin looked a bit rough, yet your cheeks looked soft, so forgive me for being curious~"

Lucious chuckled. The girl however did her best to shake off her red-flustered-face, and cleared her throat.

"A-ahem…as you may have heard I'll be in your care from here on out. I am the kings daughter, 'Kyra Erelsheim' it's a pleasure to work with you Mr Foster"

Kyra extended her hand to shake Lucious's. He'd laugh aloud so much so he teared up, causing kyra to question if she did something to amuse him.

"Hahah~…no need to be so formal Kyra, just call me Lucious~"

He extended his hand to firmly shake hers, Kyra smiled. Until he suddenly pulled her in close, catching the young princess off guard. He'd whisper in her ear with a low monotone voice.

"..the pleasure is all mine..I look forward working with you!~.."

Kyra immediately jumped back, her face a bit taken back but showed a bright red. She even stuttered for her words to come out correctly to angrily wail at Lucious.

"Gauh?!, WHAT WAS THAT FOR!"

"Haha~, just a heads up Kyra I'm a bit of a..how do I put it?…'Immoral' man~"

Kyra let out a flustered sigh, before looking back at Lucious. He smiled and began to walk over near the bridge to enter the castle, he admired the nations cooperative work in rebuilding their homes and shops.

Kyra however was still trying to get over what had just transpired between the two of them. Lucious grinned sinisterly under his breath, thinking to himself.

How easy it's going to be to manipulate her and the king. The noblemen might pose an annoyance but he'll take care of that in due time, he once again gazed over the scenery and nation still grinning.

"..This world…might be worth the effort.."
