Arc 1 - Chapter 1: I Have No Idea

Klug looking at his reflection on the surface of a river, to see a person with long dark-red hair, shark-like teeth. Chartreuse phosphorescent eyes. Wearing an attire consists of a vest, gloves, a red and white-striped bow around the neck. Along with black dress pants. No shoes.

It has been a week so far since he was reborn into this new life of his. Yet, out of all the possible outcome of him being reborn into an adult body, without having to go through the whole literally rebirth phase and growing up as a baby. He just had to be reborn into the body of Grelle Sutcliff from Kuroshitsuji series. The red and black 4.33-inch high-heeled ankle boots had to go. Klug rather goes barefoot the entire time. So, he literally throws it into a random river. Hope it stays there forever.

Klug is fucking straight, not homosexuality, he has nothing against people having a love for the same gender. But, that doesn't mean he wants to be in the body of one that does!

In hindsight, if Klug remembers correctly. In the Kuroshitsuji world. Humans who committed suicide to become Shinigami as punishment. Seriously, did not expect that, but then again, with his life being awful while growing up as an orphan drove him into the edge, to test his luck with Truck-kun after heading over to Japan with the leftover money he saves up.

Letting out a sigh, where Klug nearly wanted to kill himself again just to see if he can get a redo on getting a new body. Hell, Klug willing to go through the process of growing up as a baby. But, after thinking about it. Klug thinks it would be foolish of him, to want a do-over via suicidal. After all, Klug already experienced being run over by Truck-kun and that was painful as hell. No way was he going to experience another death anytime soon.

At the very least, Klug discovers something about this body of his, which made him somewhat fine having it. This body is still a Shinigami. However, people can still see him. Making Klug wonder if this was a normal thing or not. Being a Shinigami and all. It did take a bit of time getting used to being stared at before it no longer brother him. Also, Klug learns, that he gives off a cold presence as everyone shiver whenever he is near. Even the wild animals tend to avoid him as much as possible, but can't really outrun him. Something Klug was excited at the time, to be faster than wild animals.

Anyway, other than that, something must have happened in the process of being reborn, because Klug found out he has the knowledge and the ability to use [Soul Wavelength] along with anything related to using [Soul Wavelength]. This includes using certain types of powerful techniques that require the usage of [Soul Resonance]. A nice thing to have, since he won't have a [Demon Weapon]. Furthermore, Klug can use [Soul wavelength] to influence others, cure ailments, and even be used to attacks certain beings. No idea why, though.

If that wasn't enough.

Klug is holding a big fucking scythe with his right single-handed, which consists of a long curving silver blade extending from a miniature skeleton, whose skull is wrapped in a thorny vine, at the top of the handle, the rib-cage of the skeleton connects to the narrow stem of the handle, which ends in a lower backbone. Overall, this is the [Death Scythe] belong to Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji. Not a [Demon Weapon], though. Klug has no fucking clue why he has it, but he wasn't complaining. All he knows this should help him look more badass than someone, who thinks he is gay. Plus, whenever Klug tried to cut his hair. The body goes into a shock; therefore, Klug gave up and just deal with having long hair.

Either way, with all these, excluding his body, made Klug think these are his plot armors given to him by whatever Gods gave him this body as bribes, for giving him this body out of all the bodies in the multiverse or something.

Though, Klug would be concerned about carrying the [Death Scythe] around on the first day until he realized, no one can see it but him. They can't even touch it either. Klug tried placing it in front of someone's path before, to see if they can touch it without seeing it. They just walk through it. However, as much as he didn't want to, but Klug did it anyway. He CAN touch others with it. Smack, cut, kill, whatever. In Klug's hands. The [Death Scythe] can kill others without them knowing it. Furthermore, it's light, not heavy at all, so it makes not much of a problem carrying it around. Not to mention, if he ever loses it or something, Klug can will it to appear in his hands. Making it impossible for him to lose it for long. Of course, Klug made sure to use it on animals for the killing part. Honestly, Klug thinks he got a bit too happy in killing as he slaughtered forest wildlife. Klug blames it on this body, for wanting to kill so much.

Onto a side note about the [Death Scythe]. A [Cinematic Record] is still a thing whenever Klug by cutting the said target with the [Death Scythe], which kinda makes things difficult for Klug to see with all the filmstrips flying everywhere. Forcing Klug to do a few more cuts, causing the target to die instantly, the moment he cut one of the filmstrips. Something that is normally unnatural as this just made Klug killed the target before their time of death. Of course, he didn't try to tamper with the [Cinematic Record], even though he knows he can, because he rather not make a [Bizarre Doll] aka a zombie in some way. Who knows, if it would be a [Bizarre Doll] and not something else.

Anyway, luckily, Klug didn't get any memory of this body. So, that's a somewhat small mercy. Though, the urge to kill is something worth worrying about. But, better than having any sexual thoughts about the same gender. Plus, this is also better for him since most of the time. Everyone, who went into their second life would always be involved in some way against others. Klug would rather be a killer than being killed in this new life of him.

Though, this is just one of the reasons why Klug is very hesitant to kill himself to see if he could try his luck on getting a different body. However, after discovering all these goodies. As much as Klug doesn't want to. He is stuck with this body, and at the very least, he has the ability to protect himself in this, potentially crazy, new world. Klug knows for sure, that this isn't Soul Eater, seeing how the sun and moon weren't the same from that world. Nor is he in Kuroshitsuji, because he already made enough noise to draw more Shinigami towards him. None show up.

An entire week of trying to find out what world this is. Other removing certain types of worlds off his mental list. Klug is completely blind to what world he is in.

Though, it has only been a week. So, there is still a chance Klug might be in one of the familiar worlds he has knowledge from his past life. He just needs to expand his range of search.

Nonetheless, there is nothing around here, that helps Klug figure out what kind of world he is in. Either way, Klug just has to keep searching and maybe he will find something, to help him find out what world he is in or just a world he has no knowledge of.

On another note, that Klug discovered during the week in this world. This body seems to love anything that reflects his own image and would stand before it, forcing Klug to look at himself for a period of time and that is something fatal for Klug as any enemy would have got a good shot at him with his guard forcibly put down.

Once Klug regains back control of his body, he walks up to a nearby tree to pluck an apple for him to eat. Something he has been surviving on during his stay in this forest. Also, no matter how many apples Klug eats. They always taste delicious to him. Way better than the one he eats back in his world. Yet, what made Klug sad is that everything else tastes like ashes or cardboard. Something on that line.

Klug had tried many other types of food. Yet, only apples taste good for him. Even went far as stole some other people of their food just to see if they are any good. Nothing.

Sure, Klug could force the food down to help relieve his hungry, but he would get a stomachache the next day. Making him stop trying other food and just continue eating apples. Honestly, by today, Klug wonders if he should have been given more when he has all these handicaps. Klug just knows there will be more. Making him feel like someone trying to nerf him a lot.

"Fuck it!" Klug decides to walk straight until he finds something!

A week later*

Klug has regrets.

Using the [Death Scythe] as a walking stick, to help him walk.

If it wasn't for his body being a Shinigami. Then, he would have long by now die from not being able to drink water for over 4 days now. Maybe he should have stayed in that forest. At least there, Klug won't have to worry about food and water. Well, the river didn't cause any problem for him at least.

"Food... Water..." Klug mumbles out these two words for a while now. Hoping by repeatedly saying it. Then, there would be food and water to appear somehow, but nothing. All Klug can see right now is a dirt road leading to somewhere in this land of grass, with barely any trees nearby. Even if there is one, no apples.

Plus, Klug was pretty sure he passed by some apple trees on the way while he was using his new [Movement Technique: Soul Wave], where it's based off [Soul Resonance] and temporary linking with the sound of the very world. Giving Klug the ability to teleport via riding the sound itself. Sadly, it was a rough start at the beginning, but by the end of this week. He can move at the speed of sound. The talent of this body is abnormally great, for Klug expected months, even years before he could even use the [Soul Wave] and be able to use it constantly, where on the first day, it took 1 out of 10 tries to work.

Nonetheless, due to this, Klug got tired very fast, both mentally and physically on the second day. In hindsight, Klug honestly thought he was able to find another place filled with humans in hours with the speed he was going at. So much regret on that one. Because of that, Klug is very low on energy. No idea if it's [Spiritual Energy] or [Soul Energy]. Either way, he is spent and it's taking a long time for him to regenerate more energy without any food and water to help out. For the time being, Klug has to rely on his stamina to keep on moving. As he waits for his energy to recover before he could use [Soul Wave] again.

"Food... Water..." Klug beginning to see why many people would rather ride any vehicles than walk any time of the day.

A week later*

At this point, Klug is literally on his last leg and if it wasn't for the [Death Scythe], which he been using more of a walking stick than a weapon of death. He would have long by now be unable to move at all. Maybe he could crawl, but he rather not if he can help it. Since it will be a lot harder to move while dragging the [Death Scythe] while crawling. Just trying to get up every day after waking up on the road took lots of effort. Klug just happy, that no wild animals came by at night to eat him or bandits, if there are ones in this world, doing horrible deeds to him just because of his feminine looks. In fact, Klug won't be surprised if instead of these bandits being turned off, they might enjoy it even more. Just the thought alone sends a chill down Klug's body.

Well, Klug can see on the bright side. As he finally found civilization, a city. Though, now that he thinks about it. He really hopes there are apples and drinkable water available for him to eat his fill or else he really going to end dead sooner or later by tomorrow or a few days from now.

But, like most places. Life can be cruel, as Klug passed by a few people. All ignored him without even asking if he was alright or not. Even a bottle of water would be great right now, but no. Everyone just ignores poor old Klug.

Sitting on an empty bench on the side of the road, to rest his aching legs. Klug wonders how those main characters are able to do lots of things and have exciting lives. All he has done in these three weeks was literally testing things out, with two weeks mainly using to improve his proficiency in using [Soul Wave] while at the same time, searching for food and water along with aiming for another popularized place. Though it took Klug two fucking weeks, at least he found a place filled with humans. And humans lead to food. Food leads to apples for Klug to eat.

"Well, hello there beautiful. What a fine girl like you doing here all by yourself?" A random man in his middle age walks up to Klug, not realizing he just invited himself to a world of pain soon.

Klug blankly stares at this random guy, that thinks he is a girl. That just made Klug irritated; therefore, he uses [Murderous Wavelength], which is a wavelength type created from an individual's pent up anger. A murderous quality is present within their soul and can be used to build up power, but in Klug's case. He just uses it to release a presence that similar to killing intent.

"AAAAAHHHH!"

And just like that, the random middle-aged man ran off in absolute fear, not once trying to look back. But, he didn't go far before he begins having a heart attack, causing those around that saw this whole thing, to be scared of Klug and ran off as well.

Great...

Now, Klug going to have a harder time getting any apples to eat. Water would be a bit easier to get, but apples. Unless there is an apple tree for anyone to take nearby, which he doubts there is one.

Nonetheless, Klug slowly got up with the help of his [Death Scythe] and head over to the dead middle-aged man, to loot his body possession. Mostly the wallet than anything else, to see if Klug can find out what world he is in just by the local currency alone. If not, then he will just continue to wander around to find out what world he is in.

It took some time, but sadly, Klug didn't find a wallet nor a phone. Making him curious why, then noticed the clothes the middle-aged man is wearing and look worn out, to the point it should be replaced by new clothes. Either this guy is a beggar or someone who just lost his home or something on that line, then found someone that looks weak aka Klug. Who might be worth something to earn some quick bucks; well, that's what Klug is guessing.

Either way, this guy is dead and it's time for Klug to leave before people begin to come back here. Mostly those are curiosity, fearless, reckless people that want to see the unknown out of sheer excitement alone. But, first. Klug took a deep breath before raising the [Death Scythe] up a bit before swinging it down on the corpse, causing filmstrips to fly everywhere and allow Klug to see all the life memories of this dead middle-aged man in a matter of seconds.

Klug clicks his teeth, as he got nothing worth telling him what world he is in. Nevertheless, Klug rises the [Death Scythe] once more and use the tip of the bottom to stab the corpse, causing the skull part of the [Death Scythe] to begin to speak in an unknown language in multiple voices used together.

Afterward, the corpse begins to light up in blue color before fading while the [Cinematic Record] flying into the skull's mouth, devouring the middle-aged man's life memories. Then, the corpse fades from existence, only leaving the worn-out clothes behind only.

What Klug just did was similar to Shinigami deciding to allow the person to pass away or to continue to live. Where they make this decision by putting a stamp that says "complete" on the dying individual's file. Something Klug doesn't have, so out boredom. Klug discovered that the [Death Scythe] has the ability to devour life memories as an exchange for sending the souls of the dead into the cycle of rebirth depending on their actions in the lifetime memories.

As to how Klug knows this; well, the moment he did this. The knowledge about this was provided by the [Death Scythe] itself. Making Klug wonder if the scythe itself was alive or not, but with all the time he tried to talk with the [Death Scythe]. It doesn't respond at all and only will speak in that weird unknown language whenever he decides to send the target off to the rebirth cycle or continue to live. Something Klug tried out to let a wild animal live after killing it with the [Death Scythe]. It wasn't surprising that he can, but he requires using [Cinematic Record] stored inside the [Death Scythe]. Pretty much a similar way to creating [Bizarre Doll].

Klug has no idea how Undertaker makes those [Bizarre Doll], but at least he knows how to with the [Death Scythe].

Anyway, he gained 33 years worth of [Cinematic Record] and that's good enough for him to create his own zombies if he wanted to, which he doesn't. That's just a can of worm Klug did not want to open. Bad enough, he made a zombie wild animal for a few minutes before killing it.

"Hmm... Those are some nice shoes..." Klug was about to leave, but then noticed something he needs since day one. Shoes. And it looks like the one on the ground is the right size for him. Weirdly enough, it's black dress shoes that seem very well taken care of. Making Klug wonder if these are what the middle-aged man values the most in his life. It's in good hands now. "Waste not, want not."
