A Day in a Life

Sui stood at the door of a modest house on the edge of town. She looked doubtful and a little shy.

Just then, the side door opened, and Lucifer came out of it. He wore ordinary clothes, brought some equipment for cutting trees and hunting weapons. Seeing Sui, Lucifer beckoned to call out to the girl. "Come in and eat your breakfast," the man ordered and pushed Sui's shoulder inside.

From the side door that led directly into the kitchen, Sui could smell the delicious aroma of cooking. She went inside and saw a woman cleaning the dirty dishes on the dining table. She turned and smiled. "Sui, come in, I'll get some food for you," said Roxus.

Sui nodded, then looked up at Lucifer. The man raised an axe and said, "I'm going."
