Betrayed Justice

The novel follows the story of Jack, a successful programmer working in the AI department, who discovers that his fiancé, Emma, has died by suicide. As he tries to come to terms with her death, Jack finds a mysterious suicide note that leads him to question the circumstances surrounding Emma's death. Determined to uncover the truth, Jack starts to investigate Emma's death by hacking into her phone and laptop, and meets with her friends. Jack is eventually arrested by the police, but he is bailed out by Yuna, who reveals that she is an agent working for another country and Emma had approached her for help. Betrayed by the police and with no one to turn to, Jack decides to take matters into his own hands. He starts training in boxing and assassination techniques, and spends two years preparing for his ultimate goal of taking down Tom and his friends. But as Jack's plans come to fruition, he discovers that Yuna is hiding something that could put his life in danger. The novel explores themes of love, loss, and revenge as Jack struggles to come to terms with Emma's death and the secrets surrounding it.
