1 Chapter 1: Shocking revelation

Beep..Beep..Beep..ugh this alarms. I booze the alarms clock and go back to sleep. After some time it buzzed again. The freaking alarms it disturbed my dream. I finally woke up rubbing my eyes I glanced at the clock.

Oh shit!

I am late.

I quickly ran downstairs without wearing my slippers. There mom was making breakfast.

That's strange. The hallway looks clean but how? I didn't do it.

When I turned 15 mom fired all our maids and from then I did all the household work.

"Good morning sweetheart." she greets me. She's scaring me acting like sweet caring mother that I don't have.

Is it about marriage again?

She is being so fake. I know what she wants.

I play along.

Maybe its not that of bad idea to consider. I could get some help.

"Morning Mom." I pecked her cheeks.

"What's the smell?" Ben asks mom.

Ben and Marcus are my half brothers.

"Sorry! it just burnt a little.We can manage that much." mom replied.

She can't manage this. I remember when I burned a cake a little bit she made me do triple work.

I looked what was burnt. The air smelled very unpleasant and the food was all gross.

She burnt all toasts, she overcooked bacon and eggs.

"Mom why are you doing all this when we have maid right here." Marcus mocked indicating his hands towards me.

They do not consider me as their sister, they disrespect me, They insult me. I hate them.

"Mom I will do it, it will be ready in twenty minutes." I offered looking around. It's a mess.

"I'm sorry dear! Its just that I haven't cooked in so long and make sure you clean it all up and one more thing I will have a diet food and Jason will have his usual breakfast, and ask Marcus and Ben what they want," she said firmly.

So she is saying they will have different things and don't know what Ben and Marcus wants, what was she doing then with all of this stupid acts..Why did she acted, it just added to my work.

She don't even know Jason and Marcus do not like bacon.

She is fooling me.

"What do you want in breakfast?" I asked Ben and Marcus.

"Chicken and Waffles." said Marcus.

"Taco and fruit pizza." said Ben.

Both yelled simultaneously.

I made them their breakfast and cleaned all the mess.

Later after finishing all work I made my way to my room but before I can relax mom barged in my room.

What now?

"Anna be ready by evening, we are leaving somewhere." mom has been behaving weird.

She didn't even came in my room from like decade until last week after the news of the marriage.

"Where?" I asked with confusion.

Mom never took me out. Mom, her husband Jason, Ben and Marcus have dinners, they go on picnics but never take me with them. So why now?

"Somewhere." saying she just left.

I did what she asked for, She instructed me to look presentable and even did my hair and makeup.

She even bought a new dress for me. It has been almost three years when I last shopped. The dresses I have all became smaller for me and some even torned.

I wonder where we going? I sometimes doubt that if she is really my mother.

Who treats their child like this?

I dressed in a night gown which snuggled to me as my second skin. It was beautiful sleeveless attractive blue colour dress and it looked expensive. Mom sout out the accessories and lipstick shades for me. She did all my makeup like makeup artist I guess the amount of makeup she used and time she wasted was quite useful. I wore a simple but yet elegant diamond earring with a choker of diamonds. I looked so pretty. I put a nude lipstick to go with the look. My hairs was in light waves which rested on my shoulders effortlessly.

Where the hell did she got the diamond earring and choker? Is she doing some illegal business or something? seeing that diamonds so many questions flooded my mind but I ignored them.

After I was done I stepped in front of our porch where they all are settled already in the rented Limo.

Why Limo? We have our red Chevrolet.
