Carter Ward sat in his room, bathed in the soft glow of his phone screen. He scrolled through Instagram with a predatory glint in his eyes, his focus fixated on the photos of a particular girl. Zooming in on each image, he lingered over her features with a disturbing intensity, muttering to himself, "You will be mine soon, angel face."

Just as he became lost in his twisted fantasies, a knock on the door jolted him back to reality. Quickly flipping his phone upside down to conceal his activities, he called out, "Come in." His younger sister, Ella, entered the room with a curious expression, her eyes scanning the space.
