14 Ancient monster

Very freaked out, she did not know what to do. She wanted to know where Bella was but she did not know how or who to ask. Then she recalled the moment she saw Jem in the coffee shop. She opened her Facebook and called her on mesenger since they never exchanged numbers. She kept on ringing until Jem picked it up.

Emily: Hey Jem, I know it's in the middle of the night but I need to know where Bella is. I don't know who else to call. Please help me.

Jem: So the law of nature is getting to you now right?

Emily: What? I don't undestand.

Jem: There's a new bar called Risqué. Meet me there in an hour.

Emily wore a leather jacket to cover the boils on her shoulder. She went to that bar and waited for Jem. She saw someone who looked familiar, but she wasn't sure if she knew that person when..

Jem: Its me. Surprise or nah?

Emily: What happened? You are starting to look like your old self. No offense but the last time I saw you, you were..

Jem: I know. I was beautiful. Now Im becoming that fat, ugly loser girl again. It's all my fault. I didn't listen to Bella.

Emily: Please, I don't understand.

Jem: Remember what Bella told you, " Be good to yourself, love and respect yourself and you will sparkle. Do the opposite, and expect the same thing. Law of nature. Did I say it correctly?

Emily; Yes, it was something like that.

Jem: When I became beautiful, I started taking revenge against those people who hurt me in the past. Everytime I hurt one of them, I started to notice I was changing back to my old self and everytime that happened, I went to Bella and asked for help. She explained that she could only give me one remedy at a time and once I finished it, getting a new one would be useless because it would no longer bring any result. One product for one ailment then that was it. I didn't took her words seriously. Once I looked fine again, I started hunting down my enemies one by one. All the remedies Bella gave me are gone now and I'm starting to look like the monster that I used to be.

Emily: We should find Bella. Maybe she can still do something to help you.

Jem: Don't you think I tried looking for her? I looked for her from the very first day she closed her shop. I heard that she went to the Himalayan to find some ancient remedy shit that she needed to use for one of her enchanted soaps.

Emily: Did she ask you for money or any form of payment for all the help you asked her?

Jem: Never. She never asked for anything. It was me who started giving her gifts and presents as a sign of my appreciation. I will give anything and this time I will promise her that I will never disrespect the law of nature ever again.
