'Looks like we have a visitor...'
He spoke...
For the first time since coming to this world I had heard someone properly speaking.
Even when I spoke to the system, it was within my mind...
'So what bring you here, my fellow slime?' the voiced asked in a demonic voice.
I am sorry... it's not like I can respond to that since I cannot talk. Well I guess that body language can be used to communicated.
I firmly stood against him, with my arms in a boxing position, while punching the air.
'Oh... so you want to fight?' The pressure on my soul intensified to the point that i could here faint cracking, but my will stood firm against the oppressive voice.
'I didn't think that there was anyone that could resist me pressure...
Your the first... but what makes you so different? Why can you resist? Oh and it seems that you have a human form. Could it be that you are a mutant?'
I nod my head, as if to indicate that I was a mutant.
This was my first 'real life' discussion since I came to this world, so I had to savor this feeling right? No offence system...
'Excellent! Kill him for me please!'
What? What did I say? You want to kill me? Please stop joking...
The two rows of slimes, equating to about 24 slimes began to jump at me.
Excuse me god, can you please stop trying to kill me for a few days! I need rest time as well!
My prayers went unanswered.
I sighed.
Guess I have no choice but to fight.
Fighting spirit burned up in my eyes. When I decide that I want to fight, there is no one that can stop me!
My legs began to move.
You guys might be a bit bigger than the last one... but your still slimes. I have killed your kind before!
Some of the slimes began to grow gigantic arms on their backs, each of which slammed down on the ground, coated in thick layers of iron skin. I barely dodged. I looked at the small crater that had formed as a result of that combined slap.
By now I was surrounded. They surrounded me in a 4 meter diameter circle...
These guys were using tactics! Each of them had arms growing from their backs, each arm able to crush me.
Not to mention they formed a huge wall! I couldn't jump over them. I mean I am just a Mutant baby slime. My max jumping height is probably 1 meter. These guys are double that height!
I charged at one of the slimes in the circular formation, hoping to break the formation. No arms approached me in fear that they would attack their own comrade.
I was going to kill this slime and escape.
When I launched myself of the ground and concentrated my level 5 [Iron skin] at the slime, something unimaginable occurred. My arm was bounced back. This was level 5 [iron skin] we are talking about. The slime that I had found before only had level 3 [iron skin], while these slimes should only have level 4 [iron skin]!
It should have died. I instantly jumped back, avoiding the arm attack that it had sent at me. These guys were going to be tough...
But this just made me much more eager to fight them! Although most of the time I like to avoid fights, sometimes it is necessary...
[Over lord has activated! [Iron skin level 5 -> 6]
Level 6 [Iron skin]! With this I will be able to beat them! I charged at the same slime. This time it was prepared with its own [Third hand]...
I barely dodged before abruptly changing directions.
Who says that you guys are the only ones allowed to use tactics?
I charged at an unsuspecting slime and punched out fiercely at its body, but to no avail. Once again I hit a rock hard substance.
This was really getting on my nerves. Even with level 6 [Iron skin] I couldn't beat them...

I was shocked! The slime before me had level 9 [Iron skin]...
This was crazy... All of these slimes must have have level 9 [Iron skin]...
I used all seeing eyes on them. I was surprised once again. They had no [Iron skin]. Even the slime that I had tried to beat up before had no [Iron skin].
But this didn't make sense. I was extremely confident that the slimes had used to block me was [Iron skin], so why didn't they have it now...
There was something wrong with this whole situation. I backed away and stood in the center of the circle, my brain worked fast. The slimes continued to try and attack me, but I had no time to deal with them... I had to try and find the missing link.
My body moved on its own, without me controlling it, dancing among the numerous hands, feinting and dodging at precise angles.

My movements became more and more fine tuned while my brain worked harder and harder.

My level increased! If it was some other time, I would have been quite pleased, but not now.
Wait... maybe that's it! Could it be that...
I started to slowly count the number of slimes surrounding me.
21... 22... 23!
If I remember correctly there were originally 24 slimes. So where is the last one? I carefully looked around, at the near identical slimes, before my eyes landed on one of the slimes.
I knew for sure that the missing slime was close. Otherwise, I would have caught sight of it escaping! My all seeing eyes had drastically improved my vision, to the point that it was nearly twice as good as normal slimes. Of course I didn't have that 360 degree vision thing...
But my instincts were telling me... it was close.
When I looked at the slimes around, I didn't notice any peculiarities. That means that it is outside this formation...
But I can't see outside two to these damn slimes...
A hand slapped down, which I narrowly dodged, before rising and slapping down again.
It was like these slimes were in perfect sync...
Or someone is controlling them...
Another hand smashed down. I dodged again, but before it could rise, I jumped onto the hand.
The hand then rose, taking me with it. I soon stood above the slimes on the hand, before jumping over the formation of slimes.
There it is.
Twenty meters away from the formation, there was a lone slime. But this slime was different from the others. Inside of it, I could see nearly two dozen crystals.
These must be the crystal cores that I had heard so much about. Once monsters reached a certain stage in their evolution the would develop a mana crystal.
A mana crystal was the greatest strength and weakness of a monster. It was the greatest strength, as as long the mana crystal is supplemented with mana, monsters had the ability to regenerate at a frightening pace. However it was a monster's greatest weakness as, as long as the man crystal is taken out of the body, the monster will also be destroyed.
That is why a man crystal is a monster's greatest strength and greatest weakness.
And it seems that this monster has 24 crystals...

What the fuck is this spirit? And its a mutation, I am guessing, considering that it is a 'Controlling slime'?
But I guess this is fine. I mean this guy is only a manipulator. The slime began to panic as it saw that its plan had failed. It began to run away. Too bad that it only has 10 agility.
Soon I had caught up.
I am sorry... but you are going to be absorbed by me...
I jumped and landed on top of the manipulator slime, wrapping my arms and legs around it and absorbed it into me.
The slimes that were in the formation instantly disappeared.
