1 Beginnings

I opened my eyes to be greeted by... nothing... in fact everything around me was darkness...

What... where am...

I couldn't recall anything...even my name was a mystery to me. But I knew that this wasn't my first life... in fact I knew that I had experienced things before... but I couldn't remember, no matter how hard I tried. It was as if someone had taken my brain and removed everything...

I could feel a hard rough surface beneath me... A cold and hard feeling were my only accompanying feelings as I sat there is silence. It wasn't that I wanted to just sit there and do nothing, rather on the contrary I wanted to walk around... but my body couldn't move. No matter how hard I tried to move my body, It didn't move.

I just sat there in the darkness... doing nothing... being nothing... feeling nothing. I don't know how long I was like this... perhaps a few days, a few weeks, a few months... I couldn't tell. And while I sat there, I thought about a lot of things.

Even though I couldn't remember anything , I had still had the knowledge from what I was before. It is from this knowledge that I concluded that I was in fact a 'human', as most of what I knew was about humans.

Apart from thinking, all I ever did was dream, dream about the huge giant masses of flames and gas called star and beautiful reflecting surfaces called water. And the sky and the grass and the trees. I dreamt and dreamt...

It was my only accompaniment in those long dark days, that seemed to go on forever.

So I am a jelly, ehhhh... Apart from the initial confusion, I am not as surprised as I thought I would be... I mean it's not like I really have any memories of being a human... rather I wonder what a jelly is like.

Stats! What do they mean? Light novels! Although I had forgotten a lot, even my name, the memories of me reading light novels are still fresh in my mind...

My stats were pitifully low... I mean I have zero strength, nor magic... that means that I have no attack power...

I think that these 'all seeing eyes', is probably a skill like appraisal that is shown in some novels...
