1 Survival test.

This morning I woke up in the body of Neji Hyuga of Konoha, 12 years old, rooky of the year, genin of team 10, a disciple of jonin Might Guy. It's 6:00, I have an hour to reach training ground six, where our team will undergo a survival test.

I remember my other life, where there was a manga (and anime) titled "Naruto" and Neji Hyuga was a side character of that story, who dies near the end. According to site "Narutopedia" and certain movie, Byakugan, the bloodline limit of my Hyuga Clan, can achieve higher stage called Tenseigan, which I should try. Considering Kakashi's method of testing, I better get ready for this and go to that place.

There were no bells in this test, we just need to run laps around this field, two of us that get most circles by noon will pass and stay on the team, the last one will go back to the academy. And so we run, super-enthusiastic Rock Lee took the fast pace from the start, while tall and collected Tenten keeps a normal pace, I myself run along with her. I think it's another teambuilding exercise, like Kakashi's bell test from manga and anime. I hope we will be able to save Rock Lee in the end.

When I shared my thoughts with Tenten, she has admitted that I might be right, yet she still asked to have a lap over me, just to be safe. I agreed. If I'm wrong - then I would still have another chance a year later along with canon teams. It's not like I'm in a hurry to go adventuring around the world.

In the end, I was right - it was teambuilding. Guy-sensei explained about teamwork, told Lee that he failed and invited me and Tenten to come with him. I exchanged glances with her and together we begged jonin to reconsider, explaining that we still need a vanguard, position Lee would fit the best. That is when our sensei decided that we all passed the test.

After that, we had a group lunch with Might-sensei, where he had set our schedule and gave advice on training. He also told us to gather tomorrow at 8:30 for our first mission. That is how my life of espionage, sabotage, assassination began.
