99 Sushi Plans

"Welcome to Sashimi Parlor!" A worker said as Kanzaki and Selena entered the restaurant. It was a smaller place with a very simplistic design with booths on both sides of the single room. In the entire place, the only two rooms were the dining room and the kitchen where the food was cooked.

The moment Kanzaki and Selena had entered they could both already see waiters going back and forth with trays of delicious-looking food. In addition to these waiters, there was a conveyor belt going from the kitchen out into the dining room carrying random assortments of food that people could grab if they wanted it.

However, there was one key difference that Kanzaki didn't expect. Even though the waiters were going back and forth with trays of food there were no people at the tables. In fact, no matter how hard Kanzaki looked around the room the only source of life present was the workers and Kanzaki with Selena.

"Is it closed right now or something?" Kanzaki asked both Selena and the worker in front of him confused about why such a restaurant had no people. In his mind, there was no way a place like this wouldn't attract the gazes of large amounts of people.

Before the worker could answer what Kanzaki said and say what was happening Selena gave them the death stare silencing them before she gave her own peace, "They are open, I checked online. We must have got here at a lucky time." Selena said with a smile turning toward Kanzaki who didn't see the death stare.

Kanzaki was confused about why the worker looked frightened so suddenly but decided to ignore it as he listened to Selena, "Well if you say so. We would like a table for 2 please." Kanzaki said back toward the worker who was still taking glances at Selena making Kanzaki worried there was some sort of history between the two.

However, he was wrong and was proven so by the next words that came out of the worker's mouth, "Sorry sir but the girl next to you already made the reservation earlier so we have your seat ready over here." The worker said as he began leading Kanzaki and Selena to the table.

When Kanzaki heard the news he couldn't help but glance over at Selena as they walked inwardly impressed by how prepared she was for their date. Kanzaki had thought he had done well by getting roses but the things Selena had prepared were on a whole other level.

The waiter brought Selena and Kanzaki to a nearby table that was already covered in plates of food. Kanzaki thought that the plates were something that someone had ordered and the workers were just using the table as space which made him not touch any of the food once they were seated.

"Are you not going to eat anything? That would be a shame, especially considering I ordered everything on the menu." Selena said surprised when she saw that Kanzaki wasn't eating anything.

Kanzaki looked at her confused before replying, "What do you mean? Isn't this all take-out orders or something?" Kanzaki asked in confusion still not understanding why Selena would suggest stealing other people's food.

Selena thought he was dumb momentarily before speaking once again, "None of this food is in takeout boxes. All of this food is yours and mine to share for the time we are here. I ordered it beforehand so it would be ready when we got here and since I didn't know what you liked yet I ordered everything." Selena said with a smile on her face as she stared at Kanzaki lovingly.

Kanzaki was more than surprised once more by how much Selena had prepared and at this point could only feel bad that he had never even thought of looking into the date this far, "Thank you so much. I'm sorry for not being as prepared as you are I will do better from now on." Kanzaki said thanking her while also expressing that from now on he would make her feel as special as she has made him feel.

Selena giggled slightly before answering once more, "Don't worry about it. I asked you out on this date so I plan on going all out. You don't have to do anything like this to make me happy but you can do whatever you please when you take me on the next date." Selena said winking at Kanzaki.

When Kanzaki heard this he couldn't help but smile excited at the fact that Selena basically agreed to another date after this. Inwardly Kanzaki was ecstatic and outwardly he couldn't help but let his grin get bigger as he tried to calm down, "A-alright that sounds like a plan. Why don't we try some of these foods now that I know we can eat them." Kanzaki said laughing at his own dumbness in the situation.

Selena nodded her head in agreement and then began grabbing different plates that had different kinds of food on them. Most of the food sold in this restaurant was sushi so they each began trying different rolls that they had never had before such as the spider roll and many other things like that.

As they were eating Selena had a sudden smirk on her face as she picked up a roll on the plate in front of her and leaned toward Kanzaki who was on her right in the booth trapping him inside with her.

"Hey Kanzaki~ Say ahhh~" Selena whispered in Kanzaki's ear as she got close to him making him jump slightly. At first, he didn't understand what was happening so he backed up slightly but she didn't let him go away and slowly crawled toward him placing her arm against the wall beside him essentially trapping him before holding a sushi roll out that was in her hands.

"Here it comes~ You better say ahh~" Selena giggled as she began moving the sushi roll forward toward Kanzaki's mouth.
