11 Who Are You?

The sound of a gunshot rang through the room.

Min and Joon did their part and pulled out their guns quickly, shooting the other two men even before they had registered what had just happened.

My jaws dropped. I screamed in my head.

The three men now laid in their own pool of blood, motionless.

"Good job girls! You'll all get rewarded well." Min winked as he smacked one of the girl's butt and she giggled.

"Let's go girls," The girl said with a smile on her face as all the girls exited the room.

"Min, Joon, take care of this." Jay said, pointing at the lifeless bodies.

"Yes Boss," Joon and Min both said at the same time.

I still sat there, eyes wide. Still not sure what had just happened.

"You're still sitting on my lap." Jay said as he turned to me.

I wanted to get off. But I couldn't. I'm still shocked from what just happened that my legs are still weak.

Jay stood up abruptly and I fell forward, landing on the floor.

I opened my mouth, wanting to say something, but nothing came out of my mouth.

"What are you doing?" Jay said, sounding a bit annoyed.

Feeling frightened, I manage to choke out, "You killed them."

"Yes, I did. Wasn't one of them touching you anyway? Don't you want him dead too?"

"No, no I don't actually. No matter what they did, they didn't deserve to die. It's somebody's life that you took away, you know?" I said, with a quivering voice, wanting to cry.

Joon and Min stood there looking stunned with their stupid faces gaping at me.

Jay chuckled, "You're so innocent, my baby girl. In our world, it's either you kill, or you get killed. Now get up. We have somewhere else to be."

I felt my vision blurry because I've started tearing up. Warm droplets rolled down my cheek. My body was shaking and I sat there feeling helpless and alone. I thought back to when I had felt so helpless when my mom got into the accident. She was bleeding ferociously from her head. I was screaming and crying on the top of my lungs, holding her lifeless body before the doctors had to pull me away.

Breaking my thoughts, Jay shook his head and swiftly approached me and flung me over his shoulders, carrying me out of the club.

He sat me on the back of his motorbike once again and before I knew it, he started his bike and took off to our next destination, speeding through the cars.

I hung on to his back, wrapping my arms tightly around his abs. His body heat amidst the chilly night of May made me feel somewhat comforted. The wind brushed against my body and I left my emotions behind from the adrenaline rush.

We arrived at a really big mansion, similar to the one that Jay resides in.

Jay grabbed my wrist and pulled me with him.

Once we got inside the house, we were greeted by loud music with lots of people dancing and drinking. It's a house party.

A lady dressed in a low-cut red dress approached Jay seductively and he let go of my hand.

"Shin, I missed you!" The lady said with a whiny voice. She hangs her arm around his shoulder and plants her lips against Jay's lips, sliding her tongue in his mouth. I watched in disgust as their tongues slid back and forth between each other.

Jay then slipped a white packet of powder in her hands and pushed her back, wiping his mouth.

The lady then left into the crowd of people.

"So are you done with your business yet? Can we go?" I said, feeling annoyed.

Why the hell did he bring me here if he's just going to make out with some girl in front of me.

"Not yet, the show is about to start." He smirked.

Show? What show? They're putting on a show here?

Out of nowhere, I heard the sound of shattering glass hitting the ground followed by a high shriek coming from the room. Everyone stopped their chattering and the music lowered.

From the spaces between the crowd, I could make out an eye-catching red dress on the ground.

I gasped. Isn't that the same lady hanging onto Jay before?

She laid on the ground motionless with pieces of broken glass next to her body and wine splattered on the floor. I squinted my eyes and saw white bubbles foaming out of her mouth.

I heard a few people gasp. From a distance, I heard the sirens.

Jay scanned the crowd and had a satisfying look on his face.

My eyes widened and I looked in horror as I came to a realization. Don't tell me Jay did this.

All of a sudden, Jay tackled me down on a nearby couch. Laying on top of me, he grabbed my face and planted his lips on my lips just as the siren sounded louder outside of the house.

Cops bursted into the house, heading straight towards the lady in red.

Jay squeezed my left arm and I moaned in pain underneath his lips. His soft tongue took the chance and slid in my mouth, and gently played with my tongue. I couldn't help but closed my eyes and melted underneath his warm, soft kiss.

My legs felt weak from his kiss and my heart danced.

"Ahem, you two." I heard a low voice called.

Jay and I parted from our kiss and looked up to a police officer staring at us.

I flushed but Jay remained a poker face.

I looked around and other people were speaking with other cops as well.

"Did you two know what happened?" The officer questioned.

"What happened?" Jay questioned back.

The officer glanced at me and rolled his eyes before ushering us out of the house.

Jay and I hopped back onto his motorbike and we dashed out of the scene.

The ride was silent but my brain was running nonstop.

Just who the heck are you, Jay.
