5 The Witness

His POV:

I was in my office having some fun time with one of my girls until a loud commotion stumbled into my room. I pushed her back.

I glanced up daring whoever that may be is someone who knows better than to interrupt me.

Joon was carrying two girls, one in each arm and threw them on the couch.

I signaled for my whore to leave.

"What's this about?" I snickered. "As if I don't have enough bitches buzzing around me."

Joon took a deep sigh, hinting that it's not the time to joke. He is the only one I trust to get the dirty work done. We've been sworn brothers for almost our entire life.

"I found these two in the alley when I killed off that stupid bitch. The one in black saw me. The other one was passed out." Joon said with a composed face.

"Oh? Tie them up on a chair." I commanded.

The girl with the red dress slightly awoke and immediately became alert of her surroundings. She frantically screamed and demanded that we let her go. I chuckled thinking what an annoying dumb bitch. So loud.

I shifted my glance to the girl next to her in the black dress. Were they clubbing at Hell's? I wondered.

Her brown wavy hair droops in front of her. Her mini dress had moved higher up her thighs revealing her smooth, pearly like legs.

She adjusted her head slowly and opened her eyes, I caught her round, chocolate, almost amber colored eyes. Her porcelain skin made her plump red lips even more striking. Her features are soft yet prominent.

I'm tempted.

She broke off the gaze and tried to catch the attention of her friend, Sera.

"Mirae! What did you do? Why am I here?" Sera screams. "Tell them! Tell them we don't have anything!"

Mirae? I thought. So the girl in the black dress is called Mirae. How beautiful. Why does her name sound so familiar though? It's not a common name and I've never met any girl named Mirae before. I brushed my thoughts aside.

Mirae looks around the room until her eyes landed on Joon.

I could have sworn I heard a low gasp coming out of her mouth.

Of course, with Joon's distinctive scarred eyebrow, anybody could have recognized him. I need to eliminate any evidence.

My tempted hands reached out to her face and grabbed her chin to face me. Indeed, her skin was soft. I started interrogating her.

To my surprise, she's quite stubborn and she's quite bad of a liar.

Sera kept screaming to let her out but Mirae kept saying to let both of them go. What an interesting friendship.

I decided to let the annoying bitch go. One, because she's loud as fuck. Second, she was intoxicated anyway.

His POV Ends…

I watched in horror as Sera's zip tie was cut off but mine remained intact.

"Joon, release her. You know what to do." The tall figure now standing in front of me commanded.

So the guy with the scarred eyebrow is named Joon?

"Yes Boss" Joon responded.

So the guy with those ashy grey, copper brown eyes is Boss? Even though he looks young, like in his twenties, I guess he's the one in charge here.

"Sera," I called out, with a bit of desperation in my voice.

She spared me one last look before Joon took Sera by her arms and led her away.

Still shocked, I closed my eyes hoping this is all a nightmare.

"Hm, what should I do with you?" The Boss guy called, bringing me back to reality again.

"You can release me." I suggested. "I told you I'll pretend tonight didn't even happen if you would just let me out, Boss." Maybe calling him boss will make him change his mind.

"Call me Jay." He stares at me.

So the boss guy's name is Jay.

I stared back and repeated. "Jay, let me go. I won't say anything."

"You know that's not going to happen." Jay continued, "You can't deny the fact that you are a witness to the incident. And plus, why should I trust you?"

Fucken hell. Why am I a fucking witness. Why did fucking Sera have to run into that alley.

Even if I would keep my mouth shut. He's right. Who am I for him to trust me to not say anything. I didn't know how to answer his question so I lowered my eyes and remained silent.

"Since you've already entered my life," he raised my chin so my eyes met his eyes again. "You can be one of my whores. Or I can make it sound better, you're gonna be my girl. "

"No," I simply responded.

"That wasn't a question. I'm telling you so." Jay demanded.

I rolled my eyes and spoke in disbelief. "No, I'd rather die."

At that instance, his eyes flickered and I slightly regret what I just said.

"Oh? You would?" He whipped out his gold pocket knife again and held it close to me.

I felt the tip of the knife softly outline my chin down to my chest, and across to my forearm.

The cold blade dug into my forearm and I felt liquid drip down my arm before I felt pain.

I squeezed my eyes shut and winced at the pain. I tried to flinch away but couldn't because I'm still tied up on the goddamned chair.

The sharp metal gouged deeper and blood gushed out, dripping from my fingertips at this point.

"STOP!" I screeched, feeling dizzy.

"I'll take that as a yes, you comply." Jay smirked as he walked away.
