17 The Poker Game

Cards were dealt. Everyone had a poker face on.

Joon had a pair of nine in his hand. I've never played poker before so I wasn't even sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. I looked around. Taewon's girl had a frown but Junsu's girl had a slight smile on her face even though Junsu had a stone look on.

I looked at Jay. He looked cold as always. Hana looked empty. They're both not showing any kinds of emotions.

Junsu threw some chips out in the middle of the table and called, "Raise."

Taewon flipped his cards over, "Fold."

Jay maintained his hand, "Call", and threw some chips out.

Joon hesitated for a moment and threw out some chips before calling out, "Raise".

Without even looking up, Junsu matched Joon's actions, "Call".

This time, it was Jay's turn. He looked up from his hand and our eyes met. He was looking at me with a blank stare in his face. I wish I knew what he's thinking about most of the time.

"Fold." Jay finally said.

It is now just Joon and Junsu left. They both tapped the poker table and revealed the cards on their hands.

Junsu had a pair of Queens, and I could see that he has a wide grin on his face.

The dealer dealt out three more cards: a spade of three, a diamond seven, and a diamond Ace.

The dealer pushed the chips back to Junsu. Hana took off the necklace that she was wearing and the girl sitting on Taewon's lap started to take off her pair of earrings.

Then everyone looked at me expectedly.

Seeing a baffled look on my face, Joon whispered, "The girls have to strip off something on their body if their man loses. And if there's a pool of jewelry, then the winning couple takes them."

I felt my eyes bulged out. What the hell? How come no one warned me of this?

I touched my necklace. No way I'm putting this into the stupid betting pool.

I felt for my hair and took off the hair tie that was keeping my hair in a ponytail.

I swayed my hair down, loosening it up before putting my black hair tie in the pool.

The crowd booed.

I didn't care. It was on my body and I stripped it off. They can argue with me if they want to. I can give them an earful of it.

The announcer suddenly came back on the mic. "Mr. Junsu Jin has won the first round. Congratulations! Would you like to pick another girl?"

I saw Junsu's eyes peer up, dashing glances between Jay and I. I lowered my head. I didn't want to go to anyone else, I'm fine here with Joon.

I heard a sudden gasp from the crowd. I glanced up to see Junsu pointing his finger at me.

"I'll take the fine lady that is sitting with Joon." Junsu announced.

Even though he's handsome, I still don't want to be sitting on his lap!

I looked at Joon in horror, as if trying to send him signals to try and save me.

"Very well. Okay, girls, please switch."

Joon seemed to ignore my call. The girl sitting on Junsu's lap had already made her way in front of me, giving me dead glares.

Reluctantly, I walked over to Junsu and he patted his lap. I hesitantly sat down.

He had a satisfied grin on his face. I looked across to see Jay tighten up. Something about this is not sitting well with Jay and I know it. Maybe he is a little possessive with his girls?

The next three rounds came and Junsu won all three rounds in a row. The other guys are tensing up. The girl sitting on Taewon's lap now has all her jewelry off.

I'm actually kind of glad I'm sitting with Junsu now. I don't have to strip anything off. Little did I know, I spoke too soon.

The next round came and Jay won. Junsu, unfortunately lost. I took off my pair of silver stud earrings. The girl on taewon's lap now has her shirt off.

Oh god. I do not want to get to that point. I was silently rooting for Junsu.

Junsu lost another round again, and he sees that I'm hesitant to pull my shirt off.

"Just take off your necklace." Junsu whispered in my ears.

"No! Just stop losing!" I whispered back and pulled my shirt off, revealing my black bra with ruffles on top. My breasts filled the cups of the bra exposing my cleavage.

Everyone gawked and the crowd cheered.

I felt a little self conscious. I've always been told I had nice curves and a nice body but being half naked like this in front of people didn't make me feel any better.

Junsu had a wide smile on his face although he lost. Jay was staring at me and looked really, really tense at this point. His jaws tightened up.

The next round, Junsu won again, leaving Taewon and Joon out of chips, and out of the game. Some of the crowd cheered and some of the crowd complained.

It's between Junsu and Jay at this point.

And a realization flashed across my mind. The winner of this game gets to take their girl home for the night. So if Jay wins, then Hana goes home with him, and I have to take off my jeans. And If Junsu wins, I'm staying with Junsu for the night but I can keep my jeans on?

I, myself, don't even know who I want to win.

Suddenly, I heard some of the crowd cheering for Junsu and some chanting for Jay.

I guess the crowd is betting on this poker game as well.

Cards were dealt. From watching the previous games, I kind of have a sense of what's going on.

Junsu has a club of seven and a club of Jack on his hand.

"All in." Junsu called, with a poker face.

What the hell is he doing? Is he bluffing? It's a low chance that he'll get all matching suits.

"Call," Jay pushed all his chips in the center.

The crowd squealed like little fangirls and fanboys.

Junsu and Jay both revealed the two cards on their hands.

The dealer then dealt out three cards: a club of two, a club of five, and…a club of King.

Jay had three King's! Three of a kind.

But Junsu… He has a flush?!

Junsu looked at me. "Thank you, my lucky star." He then swiftly plants a quick kiss on my cheek. He had a smile on his face and he looked satisfied.

I blushed, still having trouble registering everything that is going on right now. Everything happened so fast.

I looked over to Jay. He was glaring at me, coldly. He looked like he was about to murder someone. I broke off our eye contact and shivered.

What the hell? What is he looking at me so scarily like that? I didn't even do anything. If he wants to blame anyone for his loss, he should blame himself! Or maybe if he chose me instead of Hana to sit on his lap, he could've won. I put on a smug look on my face to challenge his stupid glare.

The announcer came back on. "Our winner of the night! Mr. Junsu Jin! Congratulations on your win! Seems like you found your lucky lady!"

The crowd roared and cheered, some groaned.
