6 Chapter 6: Competition Part 1

After Jungkook helped him settle, Park Hyumin didn't do anything and slept. Meanwhile, Jungkook reached his apartment. The apartment is inside the campus since the school considered the sake of students thus, they built apartments inside the school.

He rented it with three other students of fourth year namely: Park Chan Woo, Kim Tae Shi and lastly Lee Soo Ji. He has a deep relation with his roommates since they started their friendship at their freshman years.

" I heard what happened Jungkook, don't stress yourself too much." Chan Woo greeted him with his affection. He even gave him a chocolate bar which gives a person needed energy for a day. However, he didn't eat the chocolate and took an ordinary chocolate ice cream bar at the fridge. Eating was always his comfort zone since child. He like those crunchy and sweet things like a hard ice cream from the freezer.

" I got a Plant Attribute Normal Grade, Tae Shi got Fire Good Grade Attribute and Soo Ji awakened Air Attribute Good Grade."

Chan Woo talked to Jungkook despite not answering. His roommates never saw him like this, instead, they would always find him so cold not like this who is so lonely. Tae Shi suddenly remembered something which caught Jeon Jungkook's interest.

" Friday next week there would be an assesment. You need to imply all knowledge that you earned for the three years of High School. The five classes of fourth years will compete. Those who awakened Life Attribute won't participate since they aren't combat type. They will be graded by their ability to heal. After the competition, your class sections will be announced."

Life Based Martial Artist can only heal at the early stages and will only be capable of defending or fighting for themselves at the Soul Tempering Realm. Nonetheless, they shouldn't be underestimated. They play a great role during official battles and can inflict high damage with their Life Spells. Official Fights are only allowed at this world. You can only use your Attribute for you own use and it shall never affect your life. You shall live in this world normally like Attributes doesn't exist so the balance of nature would be preserved. This was the law the top Martial Artist in the First World created. The name of this Martial Artist shouldn't be spoken anywhere at anytime.

" I'll participate."

His three roommates revealed a relieved expression since he finally decided to talk. Soo Ji, the quiet one also climbed into Jeon Jungkook's bed and said concerned, " It's okay for you to participate but, when you can't fight, don't push yourself okay?"

Jungkook nodded and cursed inside. He will never accept defeat. The Legacy of Four-Winged Phoenix lingered in his blood while the technique- Frozen Azgard Body Arts tempered his body, defeat was long since erased from his vocabulary which will never return in this life even in the second.

Before sleeping after brushing his teeth, he practice the Frozen Azgard Body Arts. He controlled his Ice Spiritual Qi to the correct path while absorbing what was outside. Fortunately, his friends were in deep sleep and didn't notice the whirlpools of Ice Spiritual Qi above Jungkook. While the Ice Spiritual Qi circulated in his body, his mind and heart fell calmer. He couldn't feel any disturbance at this moment and resumed this process for an hour.

After that, he scanned his body and found no dirty substance. Comfortably lying on his bed, he wondered. He once again recalled the words of the Four-Winged Phoenix about the first spell of the legacy. The words are easy to understand but it carries a deep meaning. Later on, his failure to comprehend the words urged him to sleep.

Before dawn, he had already fixed his books for this day. Jungkook had also cooked omelet and made some orange juice for himself. Of course he was still the same as yesterday, the first to wake up. He circulated his Ice Spiritual Qi while waiting for his three lazy roommates.

" You're up?" Soo Ji also woke up early this time. He often sleeps until everyone is finished eating and he would end up making them late.

Soo Ji digged in and so is Jungkook. The campus at this hours is very busy. Many would be jogging on the track while some others date at the roof top. Later on, the two also woke up and ate their fill.

Jungkook pulled his white shirt and half pants out of his closet and showered. Today is Wednesday and they aren't required to use their school uniform. He also took his job uniform out from his closet and packed it inside his bag. He needs to work also to support himself. Cultivation requires money also since there are treasures to enhance your power that are available at stores. However, their price are really troublesome.

Jungkook didn't directly go to his room but instead reached the track. He always runs here every morning to maintain his abdominal muscles. Several laps later, he felt tired so he again circulated his Ice Spiritual Qi. The same cold feeling when touched returned to his body while his sweats began to freeze then vanish. His heart also returned to it's normal heartrate and his breathing began slowing down.

" The effect of this technique was really awesome. Luckily I encountered that dead body yesterday and my Legacy successfully resurrected him."

He made his way to his room silently. The rooms had been opened already and quite a number of people are inside. This was something out of ordinary. He thought about the probability that other students was here early to gossip about each others progress.

" Well, here is our genius- oh! sorry I forgot. Let me say it again, here is our trash!"

Han Mo Bin prepared him an early gift and he wasn't happy at all. Jungkook didn't pay his attention to this and sat at his usual seat. However, he felt something strange.

" Oh that's right. The gazes of those girls are not payed to me already. How lucky I am." He mumbled and flipped his book to read about the theories of Attributes. Not long after, Ong So Kwang entered the room.

He still stared at Jungkook full of disapointment however, Han Mo Bin sat infront that was pleasing his eyes. Han Mo Bin really played his role well, an attention seeker.

" Today class we will tackle about the Legacies. Anyone here knows about a Legacy and you'll be considered lucky if you have one. A Legacy is something passed upon by a family or a teacher. Here in our City, there are only few families who have Legacy and Han Mo Bin's family have the Blazing Water Legacy. "

Jungkook thought that the name really suits Han Mo Bin's family. A blazing water, how idiotic. Ong So Kwang resumed discussing the ranks of Legacy. Weak, Normal, Good, Rare, Epic, Ancient, Sacred and Divine. The fact that Han Mo Bin's family holds a Normal Legacy shouldn't be underestimated. A single spell from a Legacy can parry a powerful spell from someone who doesn't have any Legacy.

There is also what we call Legacy Protector , Legacy Successors and Legacy Disciples. The Protector are those who obtained the Legacy first while the Successors are the persons which the Protector passed the Legacy into amd lastly the Disciples are those sho have the Legacy. Next time, he should ask his teacher, Park Hyumin about his own Legacy.

Jungkook raised his pale hands and asked, " Sir, what is strongest Legacy in our world?"

Hearing this, Han Mo Bin broke into laughter. He didn't think that Jungkook still have the courage to ask and acts like a genius.

" According to the higher ups, the strongest Legacy here is the Legacy of Death Emperor."

Han Mo Bin agai laughed while saying, " Jeon Jungkook still trying to act like a genius. Don't you know the stongest Legacy? As an orphan, I am not impressed. I should take the honor to tell you about the Legacy. It focus mainly om death and the Death Based Martial Artist can only obtain it."

Despite him lecturing, Jungkook got angry over the fact that he called him an orphan. Whoever in this world doesn't have the right to talk about my origin!

" The one who ask is a fool for five minutes while the one who doesn't ask os a fool forever" Jungkook viciously replied. His expression was really funny, a clueless monkey.

" You're spouting nonsense again my dear trash" Han Mo Bin said after he decided to trashtalk him once again. Jungkook shrugged and quietly listened.

When suddenly, a thought flashed in his mind.

" Han Mo Bin, why don't you sell your Attribute and buy some minds?"
