1 Chapter 1: Awakening of Attribute

On the Hwanjo City, one had to awaken their Attribute in order to become a Martial Artist. Only through the Awakening of their Attribute would they be able to communicate with the Heaven and Earth and Absorb the Spiritual Qi in order to progress in their cultivation.

There exist thirteen different Attributes in total and the four main elements are

included. They were separated into different grades: Weak, Normal, Good, Rare, Epic, Ancient, Legend and lastly Heaven.

The higher the grade of the Attribute, the stronger the speed capability and higher future achievements.

Presently in the first world where evidence of improvement of technology is visible despite the rise of Attribute, Hwangjo Main High School were holding an Attribute Awakening Ceremony. Actually, the whole world is conducting an Awakening Ceremony to give rise to talented fourth year high school.

Atop a pitch black table is a neatly placed crystal ball with Spiritual Qi merged into it. Beside the table is a man with handsome facial features and his face filled with pride. While facing the table is a class of students with amazed expression.

This man was Ong So Kwang, he was the teacher for the students of class one and also the assigned teacher who will take care of the Awakening. Within the Hwangjo Main High School, he was a highly praised teacher because of his handsome face and outstanding realm of Martial Emperor Realm at the third stage.

At this moment, the teacher placed his palm on the surface of the ball. The ball emitted threads of red light. It was like a dream, like a fantasy; it was as if it had manifested into large red serpents, making it's way into the whole classroom.

Exactly after this, all students present felt a huge sense of oppression.

"Wow" The students in the classroom was dumbstruck before immediately composing theirselves. Ong So Kwan wore an arrogant expression as he cried out, " As you saw, the crystal emitted red lights because I have the Fire Attribute and the grade of it was displayed on the surface of the ball, a Good Grade Fire Attribute."

This sentence was like a bolt of frightening thunder as it was thrown into the students causing their complexions into an admiration one.

" Let's start with Han Mo Bin, please come infront and place your palm unto the ball"

The Awakening of Han Mo Bin was a highly anticipated one since he came from a wealthy family with the family Attribute- Water. The complexions of the students were filled with anticipation as they watch him made his way infront.

As if it was an ocean, the room were filled with blue rays of light relaxing each and every minds present. Han Mo Bin's hair turned blue while his eyes flashed blue. This was the effect of using one's Attribute and was normal to people.

" Water Attribute of Rare Grade!"

This sentence shocked the whole classroom. The news was also heard in the class two which made them rushing over since their Awakening was long since done. Class One did the Awakening last because they were the highly anticipated one since their class is filled with geniuses.

"What? A Rare Grade Attribute?"

"Heavens! This time our Hwangjo High School has actually produced a top rated genius!"

It had to be known that if a Rare Grade Water Attribute was placed in Hwangjo High School, it would still be a top-rated genius which only appeared once every five years. Moreover, he was the Young Master of Han Family which holds a high standings and power in the city.

Han Mo Bin's face revealed a delighted expression, he also did not anticipate that he would unexpectedly awaken a Rare Grade Attribute despite being born in a family of Martial Artist who were Water Attribute based.

Upon seeing the astonished gazes of his classmates, he couldn't help but give birth to great arrogance within his heart. His gaze swept across the room before landing on a student with a heavenly apperance. His eyes filled with provocation.

This student was the current apple of the eye of all students at school, Jeon Jungkook. Not only his godly features made him well known but also his outstanding results in the entrance examination test. He barely talks to other people and was not easily provoked. Even if he is just an orphan, Han Mo Bin finds himself getting angry whenever he sees Jeon Jungkook.

" Alright, next! Jeon Jungkook!" The teacher in charge quickly reacted and immediately shouted. A trace of expectation rose withing his eyes.

Now that a genius like Han Mo Bin had appeared, then based on Jungkook's outstanding intelligence, his awakened Attribute naturally wouldn't be any worse than Qin Changkong.

In that case, possessing two geniuses would cause the future of Hwangjo City to be no small matter.

Accordingly, after the teacher had called out this name, the currently astonished students from class one and even class two turned their gazes towards the good looking youth in unison with high expectation within their eyes, so much that it even exceeded their expectations for Han Mo Bin.

Jeon Jungkook wore the school uniform and along with his slightly pale skin, it seemed as if he had just recovered from a serious illness. Under the crowd's attentive gaze, his complexion seemed extremely tranquil; he had no arrogance or impatience as he made his way towards the table.

"This day has finally arrived."

Jungkook thought to himself as he took a deep breath and ignored the gazes of the crowd. He then used all memories in the orphanage as his motivation to awaken a nice Attribute. He tightly closed his beautiful eyes before he placed his palm on the surface of the ball.

At the same time, after the surrounding students saw Jungkook close his eyes, they began being excited.

"I think that Jungkook oppa[1] will awaken a nice Attribute that shouldn't be lower than Rare Grade"

"Yeah! Jungkook's intelligence is higher than Han Mo Bin who had awakened a Rare Grade Water Attribute, therefore it's certain that his Attribute will also be outstanding!"

"Shut up! Don't disturb Jungkook!"

The athmosphere became very tense. Other than the students revering, there is also their teacher prasing without cease, his heart filled with high expectations.

However, as Han Mo Bin witnessed their attitude, his former happiness and arrogance perished and his face give birth to an ugly face.

"Humph! Our Attribute is decided by the Heaven, everything else doesn't count!" He commented coldy, " Are you guys thinking that my Attribute is easy to Awaken? Humph! If so, then why didn't you get one!"

At this moment, the ball suddenly emitted a pale blue light! As he stand there, he began to feel uncomfortable and both of his eyes and hair are now pale blue! From within his good body, a sharp and dreadful roar of a beast resounded.

The crowd practically stopped breathing at the same time they heard this roar.

Another second, the light dimmed as he open his eyes. Under the gaze of his classmates, he retreated his palm and series of words were revealed.

"Ice Attribute at Weak Grade?" his teacher said shocked. The crowd also didn't believe this result and stood up one by one checking the ball.

Jungkook's face slightly twisted as he remembered the encounter during his awakening. An ear splitting roar covered his whole conciousness hurting him. Hence, he also roared out of the pain.

"Ice Attribute at Weak Grade"

Jungkook read the sentence withing his heart before his mind jolted. He did not show sorrow nor despair but inside, his heart were slowly trembling. His dream to search for his family was shattered, everything was destroyed!
