21 To a new adventure

Evangeline was walking pass the woods trying to go to the place where she felt Selina and the others were heading.

'Finally I will be able to meet Leo again, I can't believe it's been six years. Have I Become someone able to stay by his side?'

Leo was having a battle that was giving him much excitement, as he and Albert where giving everything they had. Albert's right arm was disabled and His left leg was bleeding a lot. Even with his enhance regenerative powers the wound won't close. Leo on the other hand had his swords broken and now he was using his fists instead.

"Hmph, I would have like to continue this battle mortals, but it would seem like you cannot continue. It would be a waste to kill you now, when you haven't matured yet. Both of you seem to have great potential. So I will leave now and wait when the time is right. Until then farewell."

Seeing the War God trying to leave, Leo shouted at the top of his lungs.

"NO! NO! NO! YOU WILL NOT FLEE FROM ME, WAR GOD! WE WILL FIGHT, NOW!" The War God snickered at Leo's comment as he found it quite amusing.

"What do you plan on doing without a weapon? You can't face me with your friend injured and you with similar injuries. So how do you plan to fight me? I do commend your spirit mortal, but that alone cannot defeat me."

Leo pointed his hand into the open space summoning a portal to another dimension. He placed both his hands inside and drew two swords. It was his beloved twin blades chaos and serenity. "HOW ABOUT NOW WAR GOD?! I HAVE MY STRONGEST WEAPONS AT HAND! COME AND FIGHT ME!" Both the War God and Albert had a look of awe and shock, while gazing at the splendid twin blades.

Albert's thoughts were a mess.

'This massive wave of power emanating from those blades is incredible. He was hiding such a trump card all this time... Those swords seem like they wouldn't break even if he were to use all his strength. The wielder and his swords are both powerful, with this I might be able to see the true extent of his prowess.'

While the War God was intrigued.

'Those blades were formed by higher beings than even the God's of this world. The purity of those blades is unreal. How can a human wield such blades? Why did those blades choose a human to begin with? But with those things, that mortal would no longer need to hold back. All throughout the fight with him I felt he was holding back due to his weapon being inadequate. Now that he has those how much power will he show me?'

Leo had regain chaos and serenity with this there was no need to hold back. Leo stood in a natural stance and moved forward. This was his best stance a stance ready for anything may it be offensive or defensive. An unreadable stance a natural and determined stance.

Leo was waiting and so was the War God. The two of them felt that one move would end this battle. A lapse in concentration was all the other party needed to win this fight. The War God was smiling so was Leo, the two whose existence was only affirmed by battle felt elated. It was like finding a long lost sibling, the two knew that after this one of them might die and would never see the other again but that was life. It was only worth living, if you live it true to yourself. Albert was staring at the two from a safe distance. Even though the two didn't recognize his existence in this battle anymore he still felt tense.

A bird flew overhead, and as if that was the signal Leo and the War God moved. It only lasted an instant in Albert's eyes, but in Leo's eyes it was as if a whole year had passed. "Hey I'm glad I was able to meet you mortal." The War God was cut in half but no blood came out, his body simply faded into nothingness.

....

Albert looked at the wounded Leo with amazement a human child actually defeated a God, and not just any God a War God a God specified for battle. Even though the War God was a simple copy of itself that had only about a portion of its battle powers it was still an impossible task for a human to beat him.

A War God even with one percent of its power could easily kill a human and it would be miraculous if a human could escape a War God at five percent power but to actually beat it at while he was using more than that was incredible.

Also another big question were those swords that Leo has. The beautiful twin blades emitted power beyond those of Gods or dragons no it went beyond anything within Albert's knowledge. Leo who had finished fighting smiled and looked above the clouds "Hey next time I want to fight you in full strength!"

Albert looked at Leo surprised as he even noticed that.

'This boy is full of mysteries, it would seem that it is impossible to assess his value right now.'

The boy Albert was talking about right now is wounded more than him but was still smiling as he faced him.

"So now that interference is gone, is it about time to continue our battle?"

Albert looked at Leo in amazement and sighed "No I don't think that is necessary anymore... You have shown me how limitless human potential is. Besides even if I fight you I'm sure that victory will be given to you. As I am now I can't possibly beat you."

"Heh, this is a very boring conclusion Albert... But it is alright in its own way. So Albert I'll be seeing you, I can't keep those ladies hiding over there waiting."

Two girls suddenly came out of one of the debris of rocks.

"That was amazing Leo!"

"You are powerful. Will you make me your wife?" Adela and the unknown girl both spoke. Adela hearing the girl's proposal was stunned and so was Leo.

"Heh, that's interesting... Sure I will make you my wife if you gain enough strength to stand by my side." Leo simply answered in jest but both Adela and the other girl took it seriously. "If that's the case then I as well Leo, I want to be your wife. I'll promise I'll become strong enough to stand by your side."

"Sure we'll see." Once more Leo simply answered in jest, thinking it was just the talk of children. 'They will probably forget it overtime, so there was really no need to think about it.' While Leo was thinking he felt a sudden headache and slowly lost consciousness.

Leo was once again in the dream that wasn't a dream. In here the two familiar beings stood before him, the beings that represent chaos and serenity. "You the one who walks the path of kings, have used chaos and serenity despite knowing that they are still unstable."

"Well nothing happened so it's fine right?" Leo shrugged his shoulders.

"The reason nothing happened was simply because we were suppressing their powers with all our might. Now we have weaken a great deal and might not have enough strength to fix chaos and serenity for a period of time, and that cannot be. So we have called you today to ask for compensation for using them in such a situation."

"So what is it you want from me?"

"Your memories."

"My... memories?"

"Yes your memories. Do not worry king, your memories will return when we have fixed the blades." Leo closed his eyes and thought silently, and after a few seconds of silence, with his fierce smile Leo answered.

"Take it then, I think it will be interesting to do things all over again. Even if I forget, what I am will never change!"

"Very well." The two beings raised their right hand and pointed their palm at Leo. Then and there the current Leo's mind went black.
