8 Simon

(Simon's Pov)

It was a dark and mysterious night; I was on my way home from a gig when I saw something strange in the middle of the road. I stop my car and get out; I walk towards it and I notice that it is some random human who is in pain and has a lot of injuries. I quickly take out my phone to call for an ambulance. As I'm calling, I keep hearing someone in the background. When I turned around to see if the person was gone, I turned around to see if anyone was near me, I couldn't see anyone. I get up and make my way towards my car when I feel someone grab me from behind. They cover my mouth and I feel them bend my head to the side. The feeling of the person's nails against my neck. The rest was a blur all I felt was the feeling of a pair of sharp fangs into my neck. I tried to scream but nothing would come out of my mouth. Everything went dark after that. As my eyes adjust to the light, I start to notice that the room I'm in is surrounded by a lot of doctor stuff, I look down to see that I'm on some bed. I sit up to see my bed surrounded by people. As I sat up, I had a massive headache and major dizziness.

"W-Where am I?" I said I was confused. I then spotted this red head girl making her way to me.

"You're in the institute, it's a safe place, you're safe here. The red head spoke. Her voice was so angelic and she was so beautiful.

"U-Um w-who are you?" I ask, looking at everyone else.

"I'm Clarissa Morgenstern but I go by Clary Fray. She said, gesturing to herself. "This is Jace Herondale, Isabelle Lightwood but she goes by Izzy, and this is Alexander Lightwood but he goes by Alec." She gestured to everyone else. I put my hand on my neck and when I feel puncture holes in my neck, I start freaking out.

"W-what is this, what happened to me!?" I start feeling it even more. The blonde boy makes his way towards me, bending my head to the side to take a look at it.

He then looks back at everyone else and then he says "Vampire." I look at everyone and they start talking in their own little groups.

"W-Wait, what vampires are real," I say moving my hand over the two bites.

The redhead then came over and sat on the bed and said "All the legends are true. Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, Seelies and Shadowhunter's exist." I have no idea what she is saying. Her and friends, then continue to explain.

After a few hours they finally finished and they left me to rest. I couldn't stop thinking about the redhead. She was so beautiful, but when they left the room, I noticed that the blonde boy kissed her cheek and put his arm around her. The next day I woke up with this really bad pain, it was like my insides were burning, I could smell everyone's blood. I had no idea what was wrong with me. My throat was burning. I started to have cravings, I tried to eat food, but nothing was settling the craving. I suddenly smelt something really good. I followed the scent and it led me to a room covered in blood bags. I quickly grabbed one and went back to the room I was in. I opened the bag and started drinking. The more I drank, the more I wanted. I finished the bag really fast, after I was done, I ran out of the room and made my way back to the blood bag room.

(Clary's Pov)

Once everyone left the room to give him some rest, Jace and I went up into his room. I lay down on Jace's bed as he takes off his weapons belt and changes into sweatpants with no shirt. He comes over to me, puts his arm around me and I lay my head on his chest.

"J-Jace?" I ask looking up at him.

"What's up?" He said, looking down at me.

"D-Do you think he'll become a vampire?" I ask him.

"As long as he doesn't drink the vampire's blood, he will be fine," Jace says, kissing my head. I just nod my head.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" I ask while sitting up a bit. He just nods and gets up to get a movie. After the movie I hear a big crash, I quickly sit up. I turned to look at Jace and he was asleep. I shake him awake. Right after he woke up, we heard another big crash. We run outside with our weapons in our hands and we then find Simon in the room of blood bags. The room is covered in empty bags of blood and even blood on the walls. Simon then gets up and runs at us, he pushes me out of the way and I hit the wall. My back starts aching as I see Jace calm down Simon. I take out my stele and activate my Iratze. He finally came back looking all confused and had no idea what happened. He looks down at his hands that are covered in blood then looks back up at us.

"W-What h-happened?" He says looking around.

Jace looks at him and says, "You went a bit crazy with the blood." He looks so shocked when Jace says that.

"B-Blood I-I'm a v-vampire?" Jace gets closer to him and kneels down near him.

"Apparently the vampire fed you her blood before she killed you, you just finished your transformation." He just sits there not moving or talking, completely quiet, you could hear a pin drop in the room. After a while everyone left and Simon and I had a talk and we actually got to know each other. I look at the clock and it says it's 11:58, we then decide to go to bed. I leave the room and make my way to Jace's room, when I get in, I see him asleep. I quietly make my way over to his bed and I lay down next to him putting my head on his chest.
