14 Date Outfits

(Jace's Pov)

The next morning, I wake up to see Clary laying down on my chest still asleep. I leaned down and kissed her head, but when I did that, she moved her hands around my waist tightening her grip. I stayed there for a little bit longer. Once I got up, I took a shower. When I got out, I changed into some training clothes. Clary was still asleep so I decided to let her sleep. I make my way downstairs to see Izzy and Simon talking at the table. When they are talking, I go towards Izzy. I asked her if she wanted to train with me, she just nodded and went upstairs to change. I walk into the training room while I wait for Izzy. When Izzy comes in, I grab a staff from the shelf and Izzy turns her whip into a staff. Izzy then attacks first, but I block her.

"So, what's your deal with Simon?" Izzy asks, giving me a look.

I just smirk as I say "He seems to have a thing for Clary." I grab my stuff and wrap them around her feet and knock her on the floor. I extend my hand to pull her up.

"You love her, don't you?" She asks as I strike, causing her to block.

We pull away as I start to speak, "Yeah, I do," Izzy just smiles. Izzy then knocks me on the floor and pins my hands above my head.

"You're lucky you found your soulmate so early and I haven't found anyone who would love me the way Clary loves you." She says with a little bit of a sad tone. She gets off of me and helps me up.

"You'll find someone." A little bit past and we looked at the time it was about 11:00am. Before we take a shower, I run to Izzy.

"Do you know anywhere I can take Clary on a date?" Her face was shocked and then she said

"Damn she's changed you. I remember when you would only have your "book club". Take her somewhere fun, what about ice skating?" That was a perfect idea. I quickly hug Izzy and run upstairs into my room to see her gone. I ran over to her room to see her fixing her hair. I sneak up behind her and hug her waist. She turns around to see that it's me. She smacked my arm while saying that I scared her. I turn her around and she puts her hands around my neck pulling herself closer.

"Clary, would you like to go on a date with me?" She then started squealing and hugged me.

"Yes, what time do I get ready?" She says gripping my shirt.

"8:00 pm," I kissed her cheek and ran out of the room.

(Clary's Pov)

I'm so excited I knew Jace was a player when I met him, but ever since then he's changed. I finish brushing my wet hair and then I put on some light makeup. When I walk out of my room, I find a screaming Izzy. She grabs both of my wrists and pulls me into her room When I get in her room it's covered in different outfits.

"I'm guessing Jace told you," I say looking everywhere around her room.

"He asked me where he should take you. I knew you would say yes," she says, bringing out one outfit, telling me to go to the bathroom to try it on. I walked out and it did not look anywhere close to good. After a little bit, we decided to go shopping for an outfit. We get in my car and we drive off to the mall. Once we went to the mall Izzy dragged me into Victoria's secrets. She grabs a bunch of matching pairs of underwear and bras. She gives them to me and shoves me into the dressing rooms. I come out of the dressing room giving Izzy the bras and underwear telling her they don't fit. After a few minutes longer, we finally found my size, then we went to Forever 21. When we got there, it didn't take long to find the perfect outfit. We got a couple more outfits before going home. I got some leather jackets with a few t-shirts. Then I got some blue, white, and black pants along with some boots. Izzy then looks at my phone to see that it's 4:00 pm. We paid for the outfits, then we made our way home. When we get home, Izzy pulls me into her room to help me get ready. When we get in, she sits me on her makeup chair and closes her door.

"Thank you for doing this," I say as Izzy starts brushing my hair.

"No problem, I love doing people's hair and makeup," Izzy says while smiling. As she finishes brushing my hair, we hear a knock on the door. Izzy put the brush down and goes to open the door to see Jace. "Go away Jace, I'm busy getting Clary ready." She says, rolling her eyes.

"Come on Izzy I just want to see her," Jace whined.

"No, you have to wait," Izzy says, pushing him out of the room. She closes the door and goes back to styling my hair. She takes the front pieces on both sides and braids it. She takes the two braids and ties them into the back. She keeps the rest of it down because if she put my hair up Jace would just take it out. He says that he prefers my hair down and he always takes my hair out if it's up. She then moves on to my make, up. She does a look with some natural eyeshadow and winged eyeliner. She adds some eyeshadows but they aren't as big as hers and then she puts on some clear lip gloss. When she is finished, she pushes me into the bathroom to change. As I walk out, she gasps and covers her mouth. "You look so beautiful just imagine Jace's face," she says, pulling me in front of her full body mirror. I look so beautiful, it's the first time I have ever felt and thought I was beautiful.

"What if Jace doesn't like it," I ask, turning back to look at her.

"Girl you're crazy, he will want to tear off your clothes," Izzy says as she smirks. I just blush. I can't believe she said that.

"IZZY!" I yell as I cover my face. She goes to sit on her bed while laughing. I look at my phone and it's 7:10 pm. I was wearing this red shirt with crisscross straps at the top with a brown jacket that has fringe along with a small black choker. Black jeans with a belt and high heel ankle boots. Izzy and I were sitting on her bed when Izzy checked her phone to see that it's 7:58pm. We then hear a knock on the door and Izzy quickly sits up and pushes me into the bathroom. She said I had to make an entrance.

"Where is she?" I hear Jace asks. I crack the door open and see Izzy shaking his head.

"She will be out in a few minutes," Izzy says. As if on cue I walk out of the bathroom and appear behind her. I looked up at Jace and his mouth was wide open.
