30 Chapter 30

It took a few minutes before Akira could calm down, after all it was 1,000 plot points.

"That unreliable system, what does he expect me to do with a pokeball when I'm not in the pokemon world?"

Looking at his remaining points, he knew he could try the lottery 24 more times.

Perhaps in order not to suffer so much, he decided to use all 24,000 points at once, so that 24 chests would be opened at the same time.

"When I was still in the other world I used to open many chests at the same time in my favorite fps game."

Remembering that time, a smile broke out on his face, the strategy of opening many boxes at once always worked for him, and it might be no different now.

Opening the lottery screen, he increased the amount of boxes opened at once, and soon pressed open.

The same scene as the previous box opening was repeated, but this time with more intensity, as 24 boxes were being opened at the same time.

A few seconds later, all the boxes were opened, and he could see the items he had received from each box.

Looking at the boxes that were opened, Akira almost spat blood and died.

"It can't be..."

"Even the person with the worst luck in the world might not be that unlucky, right?"

Akira could not believe the items he had received from the lottery.

He realized that this so-called 'lottery' of the system, was nothing more than a method of the system getting to steal his hard earned plot points.

Looking at the first chest that was opened, he saw that there was a red thread floating around.

[Red Thread of Destiny]

[It symbolizes true love and the union between two people who were meant for each other, who are soul mates. Those connected by this cord are destined to be together, regardless of time, place, or circumstances].

Akira's expression, was as if some relative had just died, first he spent 1,000 plot points on a pokeball, and now he lost another 1,000 points on a red string, which would connect him to a person meant for him.

"Damn, I already have three wives, why would I want one more?!"

Deciding not to care about this red thread, he looked at the other 23 items he had received.

"Useless!"

"Wasteful!"

"Why on earth, do I get a set of clothes from Akatsuki? I can just have a seamstress make thousands of those clothes..."

"Another useless item..."

As he looked at the items he had received, Akira's expression became more downcast.

We are talking about 25,000 plot points that were wasted in the lottery.

Hopeless, he decided to look at the last chest.

And it was at that moment that he got a big surprise.

"That..."

Akira's eyes widened as he looked at what he had received from the last trunk.

All his previous sadness was gone.

"I can't let anyone know about that!"

Without a second thought, he put away that last 'item' he had received into his inventory.

Looking at the other items, he shook his head in sadness.

Taking two items that he could use for now, he chose to keep the rest.

The first was the Red Thread of Destiny, even though he had said he would not use it, he was still curious to know who his destined person was, so he decided to use it.

"Is Nyx my destined person? Or maybe Runeas? It could even be Rias, after all she was the first girl I ever confessed to..."

Murmuring these names, Akira wrapped the thread around his arm, waiting for something to happen. And he didn't have to wait long, because the red thread soon unwound itself from his arm as it circled his entire body.

Feeling uncomfortable, he tried to remove the red thread that was wrapped around his body, but before he could try, he felt the red thread returning to his wrist as it extended endlessly to who knows where.

"Are you showing me the intended person?" Akira was curious to know where the red thread was stretching to.

Just as he was about to follow the red thread, he saw it disappear.

"Is that it?"

"..."

"I knew it... I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up on this system."

Akira was disappointed, the red wire didn't seem to have worked properly, as it had disappeared into thin air. Without the red wire showing the way, he would not know who his intended person was.

"But maybe it's for the best, I'm sure Nyx would kill me if the destined person wasn't her."

...

Sixth Heaven, Heaven.

A beautiful woman with curly blond hair and a voluptuous figure was staring at a red thread that had been tied around her wrist.

Looking at the red thread, she was having some doubts.

She tried to remove the red thread from her wrist a few times, but when she realized that it was not possible, she just stared at it knowing that it would not harm her.

And how did she know it wouldn't harm her?

She was Gabriel, the strongest woman in heaven.

There were few things that could hurt her, besides, her knowledge was vast, so she knew what that red thread meant.

"Am I meant for someone?"

She murmured softly, her cheeks slightly flushed.

Any man who saw her current expression would fall in love, she was simply perfect.

Gabriel was wondering, if his brother could help her find the person who was connected to the other side of the red wire. But just as she was about to call him, she saw the red wire disappear, as if it had never been there initially.

"It looks like it can't be searched for..."

Knowing that she could not find the person on the other side, she decided to leave it to fate, knowing that in the future she would meet that person.

...

Back to Akira.

At that moment, Akira removed the True Longinus from his neck, and decided to wear the pokeball as a necklace.

He felt that since there were no pokemons in this world, he could at least make up some story about this pokeball. Maybe, he could trick some devil into making a lot of money.

"If life gives you lemons, then make lemonade."

That was the saying he intended to follow.

Knowing that he could not rely on the lottery of the system, he decided to just do things for himself and not rely on the system so much.

At that moment, he felt the space around his home distort. And when he looked back, he saw a beautiful woman.

'Damn! Did she see what I did now?'

The woman also stared at him intensely, but her gaze contained only traces of joy and shyness.

'I couldn't wait the seven days, but he shouldn't mind, right?'

Nyx thought as she looked at Akira who was looking at her with surprise in his eyes.

'He looks surprised, maybe he's happy to see me?'

'Wait, why does he have that spear?'

Akira sensing Nyx's gaze on True Longinus who was standing next to him, knew he would have a long 'conversation' with Nyx.
