1 Roommates with Secrets

Sarah hummed to herself as she grabbed her bag and headed towards the door, making sure to check her reflection in the mirror one last time. She had a long night ahead of her, and she needed to look her best. As she reached for the doorknob, she paused and turned back towards the room.

"Hey, Alex, I'm heading out," she called out, hoping he was still in the apartment.

There was no response, but that wasn't unusual. Alex often went out on his own missions, leaving Sarah to handle her own affairs. They had an unspoken agreement to give each other space and not pry into each other's business. After all, it was easier to keep their superhero and villain identities a secret that way.

Sarah shrugged and stepped out into the hallway, mentally preparing herself for the battle ahead. She was "Shadow", a notorious villain who always had a trick up her sleeve. Her latest target was a high-security facility on the outskirts of the city, and she was confident she could pull it off.

As she made her way to her car, Sarah couldn't help but wonder where Alex was. They had been roommates for months now, and she still knew very little about him. All she knew was that he was "Sentinel", the city's beloved superhero who always managed to save the day.

Sarah had to admit, she found him intriguing. There was something about him that drew her in, even though she knew she shouldn't be thinking about him like that. After all, they were enemies.

Shaking her head, Sarah pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the task at hand. She had a job to do, and she couldn't afford any distractions.

Little did she know, Alex was also out on a mission, fighting crime as Sentinel. And as fate would have it, their paths were about to cross in a way they never expected.
