'Urrrghh!' again the envoy spurted more blood and she crushed a token in her sleeves,

Bursts of Light came into the world after she crushed it, the beast was momentarily blind of the light.

Burning effects was happening in his skin, Purification! Light Offensive Magic!
The beast realized it instantly, the only element that could corrode bodies of demonic beast is only the light element, they are the natural deterrent of darkness.
