God Of Fate, The Mission & The Alpha Lord

"You are a...*Ba-Dump*...Cupid."

Rin replied with closed eyes as she had repeated the words of Cupid once again.

"Cute."

The cupid replied after watching the simple Rin. His majestic aura disappeared, and he kept on going upwards with Rin following behind him.

After following him for a little while Rin had reached a summit.

She could see a Palace with a throne in the middle of the palace.

The cupid sat down on the throne and looked at Rin.

"I am the God of Fate. You see those Palaces."

The cupid pointed at the 4 palaces that were behind Rin.

Rin turned around to look at those palaces.

Each Palace had a different color.

"From left to right, the God of Affection, the God of Destiny, the God of Life, and the God of Death, reside in those palaces."

The cupid explained to Rin.

"Hmm."

Rin nodded while listening to this small God of Fate's explanation.

"I have made a bet with them."

The cupid gawked at Rin to let her know that she was a part of his Godly bet.

"The World, your soul, has been sent to, is the First World. While the girl's body your soul is in, is considered taboo in the First World. A being who should have never been come to life."

The cupid told Rin.

'So I am being given another chance at life. But..'

Rin thought as she looked at the Cupid.

"Then where is the soul of that girl?"

Rin questioned the cupid.

She had already grasped the situation.

Her life was going to start again but she didn't want to get this chance to start again by sacrificing another person's life.

"Don't worry, she already died. Her existence is like a magnet, a magnet whose sole purpose is to attract her demise. One soul has reached its demise but that is where you come in."

The cupid pointed at Rin.

"You have to live in her body and build your achievements. The time limit of this bet will end in seven years, so try your best for the next seven years, and once the seven years end, I will bring you back here. If you can do that, I will grant you a wish."

The cupid told Rin about her supposed mission like it was a decree.

"But what kind of achievements?"

Rin questioned the cupid.

Just telling her to build up achievements without any context sounded less like a decree and more like a bullsh*t.

"That's simple. You have to become the strongest in the Whole World."

The cupid said with a smile.

"Strongest?"

Rin mumbled.

'How can I become the strongest in a World which I am not even familiar with and that too while living in a body of a thirteen-year-old?"

Rin had a list of complaints about this cupid, who was a self-proclaimed God of Fate.

But She didn't dare to say them out loud.

Rin looked at the cupid with tears in her eyes.

'You' "Scam"

Rin mistakenly mixed up her thought with what she wanted to say.

"I..."

Rin opened her mouth, but she couldn't utter another word as the Godly aura exploded from the cupid.

"It's okay."

The cupid said with a fake smile. His expression told otherwise.

"We are done here; I will send you back."

The cupid took out a bow from nowhere, and while sitting on his throne, he aimed a crimson arrow towards Rin.

"But Why me?"

Rin questioned after understanding that she was just a pawn used by the God of Fate.

The Cupid only smiled in response to her question and released his grip over the arrow end.

Bang!

The arrow was shot at Rin.

Rin, who was shocked, tried to dodge the arrow.

"Stop struggling; it's just the memories of the being you will be living as."

The cupid said as he thought that Rin was overreacting.

'Put yourself in my place, you xxx.'

Rin cursed the cupid as she was hit by the arrow directly on her forehead.

A dam was opened in her mind as memories of the little Rin kept on flowing inside her.

Rin started getting drowsy, but before she lost her consciousness, the sound of the cupid entered her ears.

"Remember, if you happen to die before completing this small task, I would lose face against those basta*ds. Hahaha. IF THAT HAPPENS, CONSIDER YOURSELF WAKING UP TO A THOUSAND YEARS OF TORTURE."

The voice of cupid, which was filled with rage in the latter half, entered Rin's ears, causing her to lose her consciousness.

Rin had returned in the body of the thirteen-year-old girl who also shared her name.

Rin then entered another dream.

Instead of being irrelevant, the dream Rin was seeing now was more like a live movie.

A series of thoughts rose in her brain which was now being shown to her in the form of a dream. The thoughts turned into images of the body, Rin was in now.

'The girl who was considered as a creation which was a Taboo existence.'

Rin could see the little Rin whose body she was possessing now.

The beginning of the dream started around the time she was born.

The girl had intelligence right after being born.

Unlike other kids, she never cried instead stayed silent like she was observing everything.

Then the dream was on fast rewind till it stopped at a point.

It was the image of the man who is supposed to be her dad.

Her dad, who was a wolf had fallen in love with a difficult woman of unknown origin.

Her father wasn't just a wolf.

The dream moved to the history of Wolves.

There were werewolves, then there was a leader of these werewolves, an alpha werewolf.

Then, there were multiple packs of werewolves led by their Alpha werewolves who all served a single werewolf, An Alpha Lord.

Rin's father was the ultimate leader of multiple packs of werewolves before falling in love with her mother.

"They are so different."

Unlike the werewolves that Rin knew of, the werewolves in the dream images were different.

The werewolf she knew of, were humans turning into humanoid wolves under a full moon but the ones in the images were contrary to the ones she was familiar with from the fairy tales of her world.

The ones in the images were actual wolves but they could freely stay in human forms for as long as they wanted.

"This is better than a Hollywood fantasy movie."

Rin commented while watching the dream and understanding the concept behind the werewolf race.
