It's been five years since Zhou Lin got transmigrated to a mortal person living on a mortal family. The body he got transmigrated through have the same name as him. He have decided to become more stronger so he can protect himself.
Star Beast Wolf Bloodline
This morning he is taking care of his own meal. It's been so long since he dismantled a corpse of a beast and prepared his own food. He is used to going outside and eating on some cheap stalls.
It is very surprising when he learned two new abilities.

These two skills seems to be Rank 100 skills. Which means they are just mortal abilities.
Though it seems like Corpse Dismantling is perfect for him. He easily manages to skin the wolf's corpse and drain all of it's blood before he manages to chop it into pieces. With his Normal Cooking maxed out, he quickly got a lot of idea what to cook despite having a lack of variety on his pantry.
While cooking, his mind is still preoccupied about his battle last night. Now, more than ever, he realized that it is very dangerous fighting without a weapon. He really should start looking for one.
He also needs to strengthen his status, so he stops worrying about whether a heavenly tribulation will fall on him, and decided to strengthen his base stats.

He decided to think about facing a tribulation when he have a weapon and is confident enough to get deeper into the forest. He didn't want the repeat of being so near the city when he met a heavenly tribulation. He felt like some people might discover him and it will become very troublesome.
"For now, I should eat!" He shakes his head out of those worries for now and look at the wolf stew he cooks.
The aroma it releases when takes the cover off causes him to drool for a bit. It seems like maxing out Normal Cooking turns him into a master chef. He can't wait to taste his own cooking.
He quickly wipes his table clean before putting the pot of wolf stew on his old table. Then he prepared his bowl with a small mountain of rice before quickly going to eat.
He quickly felt like he was in heaven the first time he tasted the soup. It's very rich in flavor despite only using the least amount of condiments on it. When he tried the tender meat of the wolf, he felt the taste practically exploding on his mouth.
"Divine! This taste is out of this world!" He exclaimed.
He was even thinking of just living off of his cooking as he was so impressed at his own skills. Though he quickly shook his head out of those thoughts.
"I still owe Old Wang a lot. I don't want to leave him hanging now that I am a Cultivator!" He said to himself.
He takes note of his cooking skills though. He can use his skills to create his own shop. He have the talent after all. For now, he will use his strength to help Old Wang at his farm. There are barely enough workers on his farm, so him as a cultivator will be a great help for him. That will also show how much sincere he is at thanking him for helping him when he is still a nobody.
He takes another bite of the tender wolf meat while thinking about his own future when he jolted in surprised when a prompt suddenly appeared in front of his face.

He blinks his eyes, and blinks a bit more as he stares at the words he can see on the Bloodline section. His mind is working on overdrive until he finally realizes something.
"Is this because of that wolf meat?" He wondered to himself.
Then he brings when he got that epiphany.
'So eating Demonic Beasts will give me this kind of benefit!' He thought to himself while feeling very excited.
He thought his fight last night is a waste of time. Even when he learned a lot of things like knowing that Demonic Beasts are really strong, and his first brush on a life or death battle, it didn't give him any new abilities or techniques.
Who would have thought that it will give him a Bloodline just because he ate it's meat!
"Good! I was wondering how I can get a Bloodline!"
He didn't know the exact benefit of a Bloodline, but he have some references through his knowledge on Xianxia novels. Bloodlines are capable of giving it's user the abilities of those ancient beasts or being where that bloodline originated. It's like an inheritance but through their blood itself.
This world is different enough and he wasn't really thought about the common sense of the cultivators here so he wasn't sure what is the exact uses of the Bloodlines here. All he knows is that it is greatly beneficial for a Cultivator, moreso if they awakened their Bloodline.
"Hahaha! Fighting against those Demon Beasts is not a waste at all!" He said with a laugh. Feeling more enthusiastic at that thought.
His previous disinterest on fighting against Demon Beasts immediately vanishes, and his eyes holds a glint of desire in it as he grins.
"If eating the flesh of Demon Beasts makes me stronger, then I should be more daring! I can't call myself a man if I was cowered even with all of this benefits in front of me!" He told himself, pumping himself up.
"Okay! I should find a weapon next before coming back to hunt for more!" He said before continuing his meal.
He decided to skip the tournament altogether. He has nothing to see there anymore as he learned how to turn his Qi into another element. Even if it's just lightning, he thinks he can discover how to use the other elements through it.
He quickly finishes his meal before quickly leaving the house to find some weapon.
