3 Shocked and possible Successor

After jumping away giving Kango and Ren space to have their fight I really didn't expect too much from Ren, after all, Kango is a peak genin just a step away from becoming a chunin level ninja. he will be participating in the chunin exams that are coming up so Ren only has to display a good level of skill to be promoted to a genin.

As I turn my eyes back to their confrontation I watch as they use simple body flicker and substitution Jutsu to feel each other out. this is alright so far but the real fight starts now.

Seeing the hand seals that Ren is making shocked me, storm release a kekkei Genkai of water and lightning nature transformation used in Kumogakure a six-year-old child should not be able to use this, looking at the amount of damage he caused using it I can say he has control of it but when I taught my shock had come and gone he used another kekkei Genkai explosion release pushing back Kango ending the match.

This kid has to have three strong affinities to use that kekkei Genkai of water, lightning, and Earth, and to be able to use them already to this level I guess he really is a genius. I need to find out if that is all the chakra affinities he has and make sure he will protect the village he will become a Kage level shinobi in the future with the talent he has shown so far.

"Shu go fetch a chakra paper to test the boy affinities."

"Yes sir" he saluted before disappearing

Onoki Pov end

"I surrender."

After hearing Kango surrender Ren withdraws his kunai from his neck then turns to the approaching Tsuchikage.

"Boy, you did a good job beating Kango."

"Thank you Tsuchikage sama "

" But I have to ask when did you learn to use not one but two nature transformation kekkei Genkai at that level?" he asks looking at Ren seriously

" It was about a year ago when I was practicing they just happened when I was using an earth Jutsu and a water Jutsu and I kept practicing them ever since."

"Is that so." normally Onoki would never take that answer but he had already found out who his parents were so the kid being able to use any one of the kekkei Genkai was not strange as his parents had one each but he has both of them makes him an asset to the village.

As they were talking Shu came back with the chakra paper handing it to Onoki for him to do with as he pleased.

"boy run your chakra through this paper, it will show your chakra natures."

Already knowing that he had all affinities Ren did as he was told as he held the paper as it was cut into four parts.

one burned to nothing

one crumbled to dust

one winkled

and the last one became damp.

Seeing the reaction of the paper Onoki was surprised that he had all nature as he was expecting water, earth, and lightning as the two kekkei Genkai he displayed only used these three with the storm being water and lightning and explosion being earth and lightning.

But seeing this, thoughts were running wild in his head ' maybe he has found a successor for the dust release and the Tsuchikage position of course he would have to make sure Ren was loyal to the village and had the accomplishments to get the position and also had the power to hold it, but he was confident as long as Ren survived long enough he would have the necessary power to do so and maybe the boy could create new kekkei Genkai as well. but all this is for the future as he has no intention of giving up his position anytime soon.'

"Ren I promote you to the position of genin of the village, your combat ability is at low chunin level but you will have to complete missions and make a contribution to the village in order to be promoted. I am also giving you the choice of joining a team or being a one-man squad."

"Tsuchikage sama I would like to be a one-man squad as I feel it would be better for my growth."

Onoki thought that Ren wanted to endure hardships in order to become stronger, if only he knew that Ren didn't want anyone to see him absorb the chakra of the people he would have to kill on missions.

Handing Ren his headband Onoki, shu and Kango left returning to what they had to do, Ren was told to come to the Tsuchikage when he was ready for a mission, as he also left ready to collect his rewards and do more training after buying some ankle and wrist weights.
