Second C-Rank mission

In the Tsuchikage after Ren had left Onoki could be seen doing paperwork before a voice interrupted him

"Excuse me lord third, if I may?"

"Go ahead."

"Lord third will the kid really be able to complete the mission, Bane of the hidden sand is on exactly your average chunin.."

"The truth of the matter is Bane is the weakest of the upcoming geniuses of the hidden villages, if Ren can't deal with now most likely he won't be able to do it in the future."

"If he can complete this mission he will be the one we use to weaken the villages robbing them of their young talent."

"But Lord won't it be kind of easy to find out that our village is behind these attacks if we don't lose any of our talented shinobi."

"Talented shinobi?, compared to which village Konoha, Konoha produces geniuses in each generation not to mention they have the most available Kage level ninja currently with more being able to reach that level in the years to come."

"Compared to that we are far behind if we don't get rid of some of the upcoming threats quickly went the villages fall into conflict we will be unable to protect ourselves properly."

"But isn't that all the more reason to protect Ren and not send him on such a dangerous mission until he is a little stronger?"

"You might think so but we don't want a shinobi raised in the village who has never experienced hardship, if we did that he would never reach his full potential and would stagnate after a while only going out and gaining experience and enduring hardship can ensure he continues to grow to become an amazing shinobi."

Two days later

For the past two days, Ren has been training upping the weights on his body creating a new Jutsu to use on his mission.

The new Jutsu he created for his Explosion release could be considered a forbidden Jutsu but he knew the chances of him having to use this Jutsu for this mission was very high.

Leaving the village Ren speeds towards the location that his target would be trying to cover as much ground in the first day of travel, as it would take at least two and a half days for him to reach his destination at his current speed.

As the sky darken Ren's pace slowed as he looked around for a place to spend the night, taking his time to look around for a couple of minutes he finally spots a cave in one of the many small mountains.

Jumping from the tree he was currently on he arrives at the entrance of the cave looking around to find any clues as to what created the cave or what it was used for. he found tracks seeming to be from some beast but the tracks looked old.

Entering the cave Ren finds no clue of the cave being used for some time and decides to settle there for the night, taking out his rations he eats them even if they had little to no taste as he taught about the mission and what would happen after.

'This mission is likely a test by Onoki to see if I can handle the real targets that he has in mind to get rid of before the villages fall into conflict again, even if they don't know the future Onoki and the other Kage are smart enough to know there will be a conflict between the villages at some point in time, the era of peace is far of in the future, currently, the hidden leaf is the strongest village but they will weaken themself, with Danzo and Hiruzen leading the leaf, by the time of the third ninja war the stone will be the strongest village by far ill train some talents I find myself and even take ninjas from enemies villages that are going to be abandoned like Pakura.'

Leaving his thoughts Ren enters a light sleep in which he is still aware of his surroundings and can react to anything nearing him.

As morning arrives Ren gets up and heads out again moving even faster than the day before as he moves to his destination he passes civilians and bandits making sure he is not spotted by anyone as he passes so as to not leave any kind of trace of him being in the area.

Traveling for another day and a half before arriving at the area he needed to be seeing that he is still in the forest with only trees as far as the eyes can see Ren decides to hide and wait in ambush to arrive, as he goes through hand seals.

The ground below him turns to fine sand as he sinks into it leaving no trace of him being there.

Underground Ren can Still feel what happening on the surface as he waits for Bane to appear.
