28 Chapter 27

He Mansion

'Crash'.

There was a crisp sound of things crushing on the floor. He Donghai destroyed whatever he got into his hands. He broke everything with an icy cold face. The floor of the study room was filled with broken things and shattered books and files.  Secretary Chu only stood there and watched. He Donghai always maintained his elegance. But when he gets extremely angry he always breaks things like this.

"Why is he still alive..?" He Donghai asked with an angry majestic voice.

"...." Secretary Chu didn't say anything. He himself was confused. That day they confirmed that Gu Weicheng was dead. And that person said that we don't need to worry about anything. He handled everything well. But how….? How can the person, who they were 100 percent sure died, come back alive?

"I asked you,'' Why is he still alive?" Donghai's extremely deathly eyes looked towards secretary Chu. Secretary Chu didn't have the guts to look towards angry He Donghai.

"From what we heard from that person. They were sure that Gu Weicheng wouldn't come back. And they made sure that He died before they…." Secretary Chu was interrupted by a crash voice.

He Donghai threw a paper weight towards secretary Chu. It only passed near his head, if it hit secretary Chu he would have injured his head.

"Ha…." He Donghai gave a mocking smile.

"Then who is the person we saw today? Is it my illusion? Or is it a ghost." He Donghai said sarcastically.

"You said we can trust  that person.Now what?" He gave secretary Chu a cold look. Secretary Chu didn't give any answer.

"Not only he was alive. He came back to Country M and also entered my banquet hall Without anyone noticing." He Donghai gritted his teeth. His eyes become more chilling

"...." Secretary Chu was silent. He never responded though he himself didn't know the answers for these questions.

"From the beginning, that person never did anything according to our initial plan."

He Donghai became more angry thinking about it. Though he hated Gu Weicheng and he wanted Gu Weicheng dead. But he never thought of killing Mr. And Mrs.Gu. But  after that incident, that person said it was just a mistake in calculation. He didn't believe that pathetic excuse, He was angry. But thinking about Gu Weicheng's death. He didn't say anything.

"Now what?"

He Donghai asked.

"We can try once more…" secretary Chu was unable to say anything and was stopped.

"Try what ? Try to kill him?" He Donghai said massaging his temple.

"Well now that won't be easy. Even if the Gu group isn't that powerful. No One can underestimate Weicheng." He Donghai said.

Because he knew more than anyone else how capable Gu Weicheng was.

"After searching that much. Did we get any clue about that thing." He asked without looking at secretary Chu.

Secretary Chu once again was silent for a moment and said looking down at the floor.

"No sir." 

He made them search the whole Gu mansion and office. But they were unable to find any clue about that thing. But they were still somewhat at peace.  Because the person who knew the whereabouts of that thing was dead. If it can't be found by anyone else. They don't need to be scared. But now Gu Weicheng is still alive, they can't be sure about anything.

He Donghai leaned his back on the chair and closed his eyes. His mind filled with many thoughts.

He thought of Gu Xiaochen. He never wanted to break his engagement with Gu Xiaochen.

How can he do that whole heartedly,when he loved that person so much since childhood. And even hid his hatred for Gu Weicheng for many years, so that person could become more close to him.

He knew that for Xiaochen his brother was everything. Even when they were together, for Xiaochen his brother was number one. It increased his hatred towards Weicheng.

When he exposed his hatred toward Gu Weicheng, Xiaochen even wanted to cancel their engagement. He didn't want that.

But according to that person's plan, marrying Lee Fengge was necessary. For them, Lee Fengge was just a pawn. Which will be used and thrown away. For He Donghai, the person he loved wasn't Lee Fengge but Gu Xiaochen.

After their plan was successfully completed. Whatever method he has to use. He would win back Xiaochen's heart. Even if he has to tie him down.

He planned to make Xiaochen love him once again bit by bit , just like before.

But now his plans won't work when Weicheng is here. And he clearly knew that Weicheng would never allow him and Xiaochen to be together.

The more he thought, the angrier he became towards that person. Because of them. Not only did he break off his engagement with Xiaochen but he was also hated by Xiaochen.

"Ha...….." He sighed.

"What should we do next sir." Secretary Chu asked He Donghai after a while. He made sure that He Donghai was somewhat calm before asking.

"Wait.." He Donghai paused. "We need to wait." We can't do anything rashly. We need to know what Gu Weicheng is going to do.

"But isn't Gu group in critical condition. If we move now. We can destroy it easily." Secretary Chu asked in confusion.

"No." He Donghai said immediately. "Gu Weicheng is extremely clever. If he exposed himself to the public. It only means one thing. He is 100 percent sure that we can't do anything to him." He paused and said. "And we shouldn't do anything rashly because only Gu Weicheng knows where that thing is. If he exposed it, the He family won't be able to avoid destruction."

"But…." Secretary Chu was still unclear.

"Never underestimate Gu Weicheng. He isn't an opponent that we can face off against. He only needs a handful of sand. He will make a mountain with it ." He Donghai said.

He Donghai, Gu Xiaochen and Gu Weicheng. They were always together since childhood. So after Xiaochen, the person who understands Gu Weicheng most is none other than He Donghai.

Even though he hid his hatred towards Gu Weicheng from Xiaochen, Gu Weicheng knew about it from childhood. Only thing that connected them at that time was Xiaochen.

Weicheng didn't mind He Donghais' hatred towards him.

But he touched Weicheng's bottom line. And after that he was sure that there is no way he can be with Xiaochen, if Weicheng was alive. That was one of the reasons why he helped that person to kill Weicheng. But in that accident. Not only Gu Weicheng was involved but Mr. And Mrs Gu also got involved in it and died.

He doesn't know what hatred that person has towards Gu Weicheng and Gu family to want to destroy them completely. From that person's attitude, He Donghai was sure that they extremely hated Gu's, especially Gu Weicheng. He also wanted to eliminate Weicheng, so he took the gamble and they worked together.

Once their plan became a success, they would have destroyed the Gu group and obtained that thing. And he didn't need to be scared of forever separating from Xiaochen.

If the Gu group got destroyed, the remaining family of Xiaochen, elder Gu, would have died. And then Xiaochen would have no choice but to come to him.

Then he will abandon Lee Fengge and marry Xiaochen. And live happily with his and Xiaochen children. It would have been a perfect plan.

'No. I can't allow that.' He Donghai thought.

'Drrrrrrrr….Drrrrrrrrrrrrrr'. suddenly the phone in secretary Chu's hand began to vibrate. He looked at the unknown number. He immediately pressed the answer button.

After speaking something. He walked towards He Donghai and stretched his hand with phone towards He Donghai.

"It's the call from that person." He said.

He Donghai frowned and took the phone from Secretary Chus' hand.

"Hello".....
