He Donghai , who was busy greeting others, saw Gu Xiaochen walking towards him. Lee Fengge who stood near him also saw the person coming towards him. Donghais' heart skipped a beat seeing Gu Xiaochen but he immediately composed himself and took over his cold appearance.

Lee Fengge felt like this person was somewhat familiar. As if he saw him somewhere before. But he didn't get much time to think about it. Before that, He Donghai called out.

"Xiaochen" He Donghai called out indifferently. His voice was extremely indifferent."You are here.!"

Xiaochen did hear his cold indifferent voice but didn't mind it. He stood in front of He Donghai.

Everyone in the hall was looking at them in expectation. They were waiting for the drama.

Lee Fengge who heard He Donghai's words. Immediately understood who this person was. He glanced at Xiaochen. He felt guilty. But he was unable to do anything because of the promise he made with his father before coming here. He gritted his tooth.

"It's been a while Chairman He." Xiaochen said with a smile which didn't show in his eyes. He didn't even give a glance at Lee Fengge.

He Donghai clenched his hands hearing Gu Xiaochen calling him Chairman He. He wasn't very familiar with this address. Xiaochen always called him Brother Hai. Still he didn't show his emotional fluctuations outside as a perfect businessman.

"It's been a while." He said. "How is Elder Gu?" He Donghai asked, though his face didn't show any concern over his words.

"He is alright." Xiaochen was as calm as ever.

"He is already very old. So it is common to spend more time in the hospital.So don't worry." He Donghai said.

Gu Xiaochen clenched his hands.

'Well it's all thanks to you guys that my grandpa is hospitalised.'

Gu Xiaochen was right. Even After his parents died. The group wouldn't have been in this condition. It's all because He group invaded the Gu group and spread throughout the Gu group as a virus.

"Well I thought you wouldn't come today." A female voice came. Everyone looked towards the person. She had red hair just like He Donghai. Because of her makeup it was hard to tell how old she was. She had a superior demeanour just like any other alpha. She crossed her hand with a middle aged man. Though he looked old. He was still quite handsome.

Gu Xiaochen looked towards them.

"Pleasure to meet Mrs. He and Mr. He. It's been a while."

Yes, that was none other than He Donghai's parents.

"Well. It's been". She said with a mocking smile.

She always hated Gu's. She also hated his sons engagement with this omega. If it wasn't for Elder He. She would never want Gu Xiaochen, who was a very proud 'omega' as her daughter in law.

Mrs.He's face became pale. What Gu Xiaochen said was true. Because of her over indulgence. She had some health problems. She didn't want her health to affect her look so to maintain her appearance she constantly visited the hospital. But this was a secret. She always acted like a healthy person in front of others to show off how healthy she was.

But now Gu Xiaochen exposed her.

"You…" she sneered.

"How can you talk to aunty like that. She is your elder." Someone come forward.

"Aunty is a healthy person. Don't spread baseless rumours." This was said by Xi Lehan, the omega cousin of He Donghai. He has always been jealous of Gu Xiaochen. Xiaochen has always been protected by two Alpha's, He Donghai and Gu Weicheng . And she had a crush on Weicheng. So she was unable to do anything to Xiaochen.

But now when he gets a chance to look down on Gu Xiaochen he won't waste this opportunity.

"Oh. How can you say It was baseless?" Gu Xiaochen asked.

"Well. Even if aunty visited the hospital. There must be some trivel reason. Now apologies." Xu lehan said

Gu Xiaochen, acted like he didn't hear anything. It irked Xi Lehan.

"Are you deaf or something. You didn't hear what I said, apologies to aunty."

He increased his voice.

Mrs.He looked at them. She was waiting for Gu Xiaochen to apologise. But Xiaochen didn't have any intention to apologise.

"It's enough." Mr. He who only stood there without being involved spoke. Xi Lehan became silent. Mr. He glanced at Xiaochen who didn't show any expression.

"Well now everyone is here, you don't need to wait anymore." Mr He said to He Donghai. Donghai looked at his father and got approval. He walked toward the stage. Everyone in the hall forgot to even breathe. Though they have a guess what He Donghai was about to say. Still they want to hear it from their mouth.

Mrs. He also had a smirk. She was waiting for this day. She wanted to see how Xiaochen can smile later. And her bad mood before this also disappeared.

He Donghai stood in the stage and said,

"Good evening everyone," His voice was indifferent.

"Well thank you for coming today. Now everyone is here. I want to make an important announcement." He looked towards Gu Xiaochen.

"Today I am informing all of you that I, He Donghai, are breaking off my engagement with the young master of the Gu family Gu Xiaochen."

The hall became silent for a moment. Then it turned into murmur's. Many people glanced towards Gu Xiaochen. With eyes full of pity and mocking.

But they didn't get the expected reaction from Gu Xiaochen. He only stood there.

"And also. I would like to announce my engagement with Fengge. Young master of Lee group." He said.

The murmuring in the Hall intensified. Lee Fengge's face was not happy at all. He clenched his fist.

He Donghai. Stretched his hand towards Lee Fengge's. Lee Fengge clenched his hands. If he gave any more pressure. His hands will bleed for sure.

MingMing who stood not far away looked towards him. She really didn't want her friend to give his hands. But she knows Lee Fengge is in a tight position.

Lee Fengge reluctantly put his hands on He Donghai's hand. When his hand touched. He felt disgusting. But his will was chained by his own father.

Everyone began to congratulate He Donghai and Lee Fengge. They all ignored the unfairness which happened before. And didn't give any face to Gu Xiaochen. Who may be heart broken.

Two of them stood on the stage together. This time Gu Xiaochen's face slightly cracked. Don't know why. He hated Lee Fengge but he despised seeing Lee Fengge with He Donghai.He clenched hands. His eyes turned red in anger.

Xi Lehan saw this. And thought that Gu Xiaochen was jealous. And was angry because of jealousy.

"Well, aren't they perfect together?" He said to Mrs.He. His voice was High enough to be heard by everyone.

"Young master Lee and young master he look perfect together." He glanced at Gu Xiaochen.

"Of Course. Feng'er is the perfect partner for my son." Mrs. He responded in a high voice.

"Anyway,He is much better than an orphan omega who is going to become homeless in a few days." She said with a smirk.

Gu Xiaochen heard it. He was sure he could face anything they said to him with a smile. But he was confused because he was unable to contain his emotions as he thought. But it wasn't because of He Donghai breaking their engagement. The reason was something else. Which he himself didn't understand.

But one thing was sure his composure cracked the moment he saw Lee Fengge.

And now when he heard the word orphan. His emotions become more chaotic. He wanted to scream to the world that he isn't an orphan. He still has his brother. But he has to endure it. He can't mess up his brother's plan. He pressed his lips.

"Who are you calling an orphan?" A majestic voice echoed in the hall. That voice was cold and magnetic. Which made everyone present in the hall tremble. And the entire hall once again became silent.

Everyone looked towards the source of the voice. Including He Donghai and Lee Fengge.

The moment they saw the person who stood there. They froze. Some of them were surprised, some looked towards the person as if they were seeing a ghost. And the people who didn't him were awestruck seeing the godly figure before them.

The He family and the people who mocked Xiaochen instantly became silent.

But the people who had the worst reaction were those who stood on the stage.

"Gu... Weicheng." He Donghai called in disbelief.
