Zino's whole body shook after seeing the darkness that had plunged through Zack's stomach and out through the back.
"No!" she screamed.
The darkness couldn't pull Zack towards its host since he pressed his feet hard into the ground, refusing to be brought any closer.
Sid didn't like that. What was supposed to be a quick snatch was going to take more time which he didn't have with the entity drawing nearer.
Zino sprang to her feet with her dagger and zipped around two times before she bolted at Szedra. The darkness tore through Szedra's left arm to dart at Zino like an oversized spike.
Zino had to switch trajectory fast to miss it and continue running around in a circle inside the dome. Tears flew from her eyes to hit her in the face since she kept running in a circle. She couldn't hold it back after seeing how that lunatic was destroying Szedra's body. What pain was Szedra going to be in after she regained control of her body?
