Sheena remained inside the center building with the village's heart stone. Meanwhile, white vortexes appeared outside and around the building. Reinforcement of drones and human troops came out along with Phase-shifters. The five guardians and accompanying Chewlete soldiers had to stop their movements forward.
Sheena's troops and drones branched off into groups with scanners. One group passed into Tess's safe zone getting closer and she summoned two swords. The noise from Phase-shifters' started, flooding danger in the air.
Tess wondered what the troops were scanning for since the heart stone was still at the center. Her pondering increased when the troops receded and went elsewhere. With her super hearing, she heard blasters and thuds over the destructive suction. She realized the fight had started somewhere else.
