The new test got her seriously wounded but she refused to enter deep sleep out of fear of ending up in the infirmary. As a result, she woke up several times from her death-like state.

To her disappointment, she recreated her dark energy sphere that quickly shattered. Sensei took it as a positive sign to end her training and get her medical help. But Tess refused to be moved. She lied covered in blood, depressed she did not use her Metasyne powers.
