Lanse and all the members of his team teleported back to the mission base. For some strange reason, when he saw Sensei approaching them, Tess flashed into his mind. He glimpsed her just as she fell to the ground. "Crap!"
A crowd formed around Tess before she got transferred to the medical unit. The second she had seen the white floors, she fainted. She lost too much blood and went into a deep sleep.
After two hours she woke up in the infirmary with her hand healed. Since she was alone there, she figured she hadn't been out for long. Thoughts of her teammates left and her recent failure to destroy the Leak consumed her mind.
