'Why is the title missing an A'?
English is my first language, and the title was intentional. (eg. Becoming president, becoming Hokage). Becoming a Monster hints that the MS can become an average monster, but that is not the case. Becoming the Monster just sounded weird. The MC's condition could turn her into the 'monster of monsters'. (Maybe that should have been the title?) However, I added an A to the book image, but the title cannot be changed due to Webnovel's contract terms.

It is with a heavy heart I say this, but this story will be on hiatus for a while. University and working is taking a toll on me, and I don't want you my valuable readers to be disappointed waiting on more chapters without giving you any notice. So please, do not expect a chapter every month like I tried to do-I can no longer meet this goal. Yes, I am still developing the story, however I won't make a priority to edit chapters for publishing. If I am still alive at the end of university, I have every hopes to pick up regular and frequent publishing again. As I said, this is a LONG story and writing helps my mental health!! Thank you for all the votes and support.

Happy New Years! So I'm in year three of University and still trying to write some chapters. Whoa! Thanks to my readers for the support. I can't wait to be done with school and start writing consistently again. Because this is a LONG story!

(This took effect some time in December 2021, but I am now writing this announcement for potential readers)
If you've read past chapter 218 you would notice the titles and writing has changed. This is because I am doing summaries as a way to help me wrap up this story, hoping to come back and flesh things out in the future. Yes, I too want to get to the end of this story.
Furthermore, I will not upload everyday like I've done for the past six months. I am resuming University next week and so this novel (my passion) has been put on the back burner, hence these changes. Writing this novel is completely optional but I will only continue it while joggling University due to my passion.
I realize some of my readers have left and stopped voting which is understandable. Thank you for being with me up until now.

I started editing some chapters (3) but decided to take a pause. I want get a large stockpile to be able to stop writing and focus fully on editing. Plus, being a new author I'm going to need more time to fully develop a writing style. For now, I'm switching my focus back to writing, but I will edit any major concerns brought up by you (my reader).

I was informed that my writing is bad, hence chapters are being edited from the beginning to (whenever it catches up). Forgive me if this affects updates as I am trying my best not to break my daily updates, but (there are so many errors. I cannot write!)

I corrected some of the tags for 'Becoming Monster' with ones I thought more accurately matched with the story. *Please if you've read a good chunk and have suggestions for tags to help this novel get found, please do let me know. (I'm on discord)
(Some time ago)
You will notice there are some filler words at the end of some of the later chapters (71 up). That was due to an issue with double updates where I scheduled the release time incorrectly. Thus, the chapters that should have been published first came out after, messing up the ordering.
Webnovel does not allow contracted authors to delete chapters, and edits cannot result in more than 100 words being deleted, hence the filler just to get the chapter to 'SAVE.'
This was not to cheat the system for MGS (I've never participated in this anyways).1 I contacted my editor and yeah, this was the only way to fix the problem.
