Accomplishment
It was sunset. The tall windows to one side of the infirmary cast lines of shadows on the other wall.
Tess leaned back in the bed and sighed, "We lost another fragment."
"But we took down one member of the Elites," Zino said excitedly.
She was the only one not dressed in white since she had long woken up and changed out of her clothes. She sat on the edge of a bed with a wide smile that hadn't flickered since she saw Szedra awake.
Szedra turned to Zino and blurted, "No way!" Her still eyes didn't blink as she asked, "Who was it, Legion?"
Szedra recently woke up but the others had been awake for about an hour. Zack had been talking non-stop about everything that happened since Szedra got taken away. He only paused when he needed confirmation from the others but a nod was all they ever got to do before he began talking again. He was in the middle of talking about the recent battle they had with the Elites when Tess gave out a major spoiler.
