Ch. 5

Jiang Rong smelled a nice sweety fruity fragrance which was coming from the peach, it stimulated his hunger. He picked up the peach and brought it to his lips and took a bite, the fragrance and juice wafted into his mouth making him stunned. It was very delicious and fragrance, he had never tasted such delicious peach before in his two lives. He glanced at Mao Qui

"it's very delicious, better than all peaches I've eaten." he said. "but i feel something more and i don't know how to describe it, i thought I could no longer taste human food but it's strange" he added. Mao Qui stood up on four paws and stretched two in front stretching its body. "that's because it's different, it's a spiritual fruit. Everything planted in the space becomes something with spiritual energy and so does livestock because of the space itself is with abundant spiritual energy nuturing everything in it. Just like you, you're dead alright but because of your connection with the space you became something which is dead and at the same time not"

Mao Qui took it's time to explain to him. He was excited hearing that livestock could be raised in the space, so practically he can give Ye Xuan the best. "can I bring someone into the space if i wanted." he asked anxiously. Thinking that if Ye Xuan was to be in a dangerous situation he could take him into the space, but Jiang Rong wasn't entirely sure if it was possible to bring someone else into the space. Sensing his worries Mao Qui decided to answer him honestly because it had a very good impression of Ye Xuan

"well yes, just one person. You can grant the person authority to be able to enter and exit the space at will but some places like the spiritual spring pool will be restricted to the person, without your permission the person can't get close or cross the barrier array to the spring pool and that person has to be the person you recognize as your spouse in this lifetime" Mao Qui explained. "there's an array? but i didn't notice any barrier" Jiang Rong asked the part that caught his attention the most making Mao Qui snorted at him as if talking to an idiot.

"of course, how could such a good place be without protection? There's an array setup all over" he said as a matter of fact. Jiang Rong understood his meaning and didn't ask anymore, since he could bring Ye Xuan in the space then it didn't matter. As for permission he trusted Ye Xuan with his life itself so he would let him have access to everything in the space. He thought and planned everything to do with Ye Xuan even though he hadn't found him yet but Jiang Rong was just enthusiastic and looking forward to his days with Ye Xuan.

The butler came with all the servants in the villa, they all lined up in front of him waiting for his order. Jiang Rong sneered, everyone of them were all spies placed in his villa by the people around him sending informations here and there to their real employers, Jiang Rong had always known that but he just never bothered himself with it. But now he made up his mind to send them all away not because of the apocalypse and the care for them, but because he was going to buy and hoard a lot of things into the villa before transferring to the space.

And in doing so he couldn't afford any witness or bring attention to himself, lest in the apocalypse it comes back to bite him in the back again. It wasn't that he didn't want to inform and warn people about the apocalypse, he wasn't the holy Mary and cared about his and Ye Xuan's wellbeing the most. But he'll still do something to inform people but just not openly, that would make him a totally idiot finding troubles for himself for no reason. He swept his eyes over them quietly as he plsyed with his phone, he looked to be in a deep thought to them but in reality he was just unhappy to have to waste his breath on them.

"I'm giving all of you a month's time vacation, from today itself you're all to pack up and leave this place. You can choose to come back when the vacation is over or you can choose to go look for a different work from now." he said lightly. The butler's eyes widened in horror as well as the workers and bodyguards, they were all dumbfounded by his speech. "but Young Master, how can i leave you alone. I've been taking care of Young Master since Young Master moved to this villa." the butler said nervously.

Jiang Rong sneered "I'm not sacking you from work, it's just a month's time vacation. I am bringing someone home, he's not used to being around people so after he's gotten used to this villa then I'll call you all back. And anyways i don't have to explain myself to you now, do i?" he turned cold and looked at them with indifference. They all gulped and nodded like lizards, he smiled seeing their submissiveness. They were sullen and unwilling but since the master of the house had spoken they had to comply, they started to walk away one after the other. Jiang Rong frowned when he saw the bodyguards still standing "what are you still standing here waiting for?" he asked expressing his unhappiness.

"Boss but we wee hired by your father to protect you, we can't leave our posts" the captain of the bodyguards said. Jiang Rong became irritated and annoyed "and I the person involved doesn't want to be guarded in a month's time, y'all pack up and leave. You go tell your employer what i have decided." Jiang Rong stated coldly. The bodyguards were very reluctant to leave so they still stood there, they've never respected him as their boss and weren't willing to listen to his instructions. "do I have to call the police on you for breaking in? because as a matter of fact i was planning to do that if y'all refused to leave my house." he smiled coldly and dialed a number before bringing the phone over to his ears.

The bodyguards broke into cold sweats seeing that he was very serious about calling the police, they quickly walked away in reluctance as the captain called Jiang Rong's father to inform him. Jiang Rong sneered and relax his vigilance after everyone left, he made sure to sweep the whole villa with his mental ability to detect any signs of life apart from his and Mao Qui.

The realtor from the real estate company he called came in not long after the workers left, he invited her in and she sat across him in the hall. "thank you for coming Miss Mei Xing, go through the deeds of the villas first?" Jiang Rong asked and passed her the title deeds of the villas he wanted to sell off, he wanted to get everything done quickly and send her on her way. From the way she talked on the phone earlier he had a bad feeling about her and the impression she gave when she arrived worsened his views of her.

She started acting intimate with him and was trying to get close to him in a flirtatious way, Jiang Rong was very disgusted. She quickly went through the documents passed to her before she placed them aside, they started to discuss about the villas and since the locations of the villas were good and it was estimated that they'll sell very high. "it doesn't need to be sold at the market price, I'll take any offer as long as the price is good. I'm urgently in need of funds now and i hope it could be sold in a week's time" Mei Xing smiled brightly and professionally hearing him say that "leave it to me Mr. Jiang" she assured.

He nodded in satisfactory and discussed a bit more with her. After discussion he walked her out to the gate, "Miss Mei?" he asked her when he noticed her fidgeting and looking nervous looking like she wanted to say something. She walked closer to him and hooked his arm, Jiang Rong was startled. He hurriedly pulled away from her and frowned looking unhappy "Miss Mei, I'm sorry but I'm with someone else" he quickly cut off all her expectations at once. Mei Xing was very stunned and unhappy, but she didn't want to give up at all. She didn't see anyone else in the villa apart from him so she didn't believe his words, who in the country didn't know Jiang Rong.

A young man who became the CEO of a well established company at a very young age. She didn't want to give up such a meat which has fallen on her plate. "Mr. Jiang I'm no worse than whoever it is you're with...." "I'm gay" Jiang Rong said bluntly seeing that she didn't want to give up but compromise. She stared at him flabbergasted and dumbstrucked ".....Mr. Jiang I'll let you know when a buyer is found. I know Mr. Jiang is saying that to push me away, so I'll leave for now."

She walked away feeling extremely unhappy after saying that but she still made no mind of giving up. Jiang Rong sighed and shook his head, he really didn't want to deal with this type of people, what a rotten luck he had. He went to the garage and drove out of the house in a black Mercedes Benz with the thought of starting his journey of hoarding before the apocalypse arrives.
