13 First Day

Jaemin woke up.

That conversation that he had a few hours ago, he won't ever forget it. Not even a single word he said would be forgotten. He was a trainee now, this was the start of his career. He had found the road to become famous, the only thing he had to do now was just follow it.

JYP had indeed given him some interesting news. It was something that made him the happiest man alive. He literally said: "Truthfully, I already have plans for you, including your debut."

He was ecstatic, he basically thought he had been accepted as a trainee, since he knew that he did very well. He hadn't expected that he'd be told this shocking piece of information.

But, it wasn't all positive.

If he had plans for his debut, when would he debut? And would he even debut with GOT7, or another group?

He basically waited this long to participate in the audition to fit the time when GOT7's trainees also auditioned.

He hoped that he didn't have to debut in another group, and if he had, it'd be a bit depressing. But he would just accept it. Becoming an idol was already plenty, one shouldn't be too greedy.

The rest of the conversation was pretty much something you'd expect, they talked a bit about themselves, his trainee schedule and some of the things he had planned for him. One of those things were that he would become a model.

It was only logical if one takes his appearance into consideration.

He didn't mind that at all, it was just another way to boost his popularity. Every chance that showed up or would be given to him, he would definitely take them.

Today was his first day at his new school, as well as his first day as a JYP trainee. It was truly a special day for him. He had a diary in his last life, he never missed even a day without writing his experiences down.

It was the same now. It was his way of dealing with his feelings, since they were in a bit of a mess currently. He had hid it where no one would be able to find it except for him, so there was nothing to worry about.

Jaemin got out of bed and looked at the time.

"Hmmmmm? 7:00? Wait.... doesn't school start at 8:00?...."

"God damn it i'm late!"

He went to bed a little late for his age, this new body of his needed more sleep than his previous one.

His school, School of Performing Arts, starts at 8 a.m, and he would need 30 minutes just to arrive there. That means he had only 30 minutes to pack his bag, eat breakfast, put on appropriate clothing etc.

A lot of K-pop idols attend or graduated from that school. He only got to transfer there because of JYP and his grandfather. He didn't know which idols he would meet, but he was excited nonetheless.

He threw the covers off of him and jumped out of his bed. He opened the door of his closet and quickly went through his clothing to find his uniform.

"Got it" He grabbed the special black and yellow uniform and the black trousers faster than Usain Bolt, and put them on with the speed of light. And as easy as that, he was dressed.

All that was done in three minutes.

He didn't have time to eat a large breakfast, so he just made two shakes, one for now and one for at school. That bottle was emptied in less than a minute.

Next up, bathroom.

He squeezed the last bit of toothpaste that was left on his toothbrush and started violently brushing his teeth. After that, he fixed his hair and clothing. He once again looked in the mirror.

"I'm so handsome, this uniform looks way too good on me...."

Jaemin slapped himself on his cheeks.

"Jezus Min-jae stop this, really."

The only thing he had to do now was put on his shoes and pack his bag. But...

Where was his bag?

"Oh god no no no no no, don't do this to me."

He ran through the whole house for more than nine minutes before he finally found his bag. He only had a little less than eight minutes left before, since he had to catch the bus.

"I'm going to take a taxi next time..."

He got in the elevator, and went out twenty seconds later. He was anxious, every second counts. He already had to take a later bus, so he couldn't afford to miss this one.

The bust stop was closeby, but it would still normally take around ten minutes to go there. He'd have to run to make it, so that was exactly what he did.

The people around him all looked at him, that yellow uniform truly stood out.

"Isn't that an idol?"

"I think I know him!"

"Ah, he is from that famous high school."

"I wish I was still young..."

He paid no attention to them, he only cared about catching the bus.

He was running like a madman, he hadn't ever run this fast in his whole life. He was so fast, that in his vision, his surroundings blurred.

And in that blurred vision, was a bus, right ahead of him.

He made it.

He bought a ticket while panting heavily and took a seat at the back of the bus. There weren't many people sitting in there, just an old lady and a few adults. The reason for that is because this bus, was already too late.

It arrives at 8:02.

And he still had to walk to school, which took around five minutes. Moreover, he had to find his classroom as well, which also took around five minutes.

If he was fast, then he would only be a little late. He was sure that the teacher wouldn't mind, since he had thought of an excuse, if he even needed to. His looks usually saved him in such situations.

But one couldn't ignore the fact that he was late for school on his first day. So he was naturally worried about it.

There are five different departments in the School of Performing Arts: Department of Theatre & Film, Department of Practical Dance, Department of Practical Music, Department of Stage Arts and Department of Theatre Arts.

He was the most interested in Stage Arts, since he hadn't really gotten into contact with it as much as the others.

The bus arrived a minute earlier than expected, and he made full use of it. an undiscernable yellow shadow flew out of the bus the moment the doors opened.

Even he was getting tired after such intense sprinting, he almost started sweating. But there was that building complex in front of him with one word and a logo lodged onto it: SOPA. Which is the reason why he couldn't stop.

(Author note: SOPA = School of Performing Arts)

He took out his phone, since he had a map of the school on there, including the path to his first class.

He hadn't been there before, so he had no idea where to go if he didn't have that map.

He rushed through the front gate.

He saw a lot of students in the same yellow coloured uniform as him. But yet again, he didn't mind them, he just ran straight to his classroom. The halls were pretty empty, since classes had already started.

He had to rush up a few stairs until he arrived at the right floor.

He saw the door of his classroom.

He stopped running and looked at the time.

8:09

He was nine minutes late.

"Calm down, you can do this."

He gave himself an encouraging speech to help deal with the nervousness. It was weird, wasn't his willpower supposed to help him with this?

At least his legs weren't shaking.

He checked his appearance, since he had to make a good first impression on his teacher and classmates.

And..

He opened the door.
