29 Dream High #1

"I dream high, I dream a dream..." Jeamin was singing the iconic ost of his first to-be drama, to find some immersion.

He was currently walking towards JYP's office, he had already checked the recording studio where he usually was, but he wasn't there.

He really couldn't believe he was actually acting in Dream High, and he played the male lead at that!

Dream High was the first drama he ever watched, and that is why this all seemed so unreal to him.

He originally didn't watch a lot of movies at all, especially k-dramas, he didn't really like the romance genre, which was a typical go-to in a drama. That is what he thought, but he had been proven wrong.

He eventually stumbled upon Dream High because he liked 2PM a ton, and it is known that 2PM's Taecyeon acts in there. He wanted to see how he'd fare, so he ended up watching it.

He had enjoyed watching Dream High, a lot. You could say, that because of Dream High, he started to begin watching other dramas as well.

He hadn't thought he'd like it at all, k-dramas usually have this painfully obvious plot and almost all of them use the same plot-twists, and he didn't really prefer watching a movie like that.

K-dramas usually go like this:

A male meets a female, and they eventually start to like each other.

Then, something comes in between them.

This can be, another male/girl, a sickness or wealth.

Somehow, this is resolved after about 2/3'd of the drama.

Then another conflict shows up. Most of the time, it's a new problem. But it could also be the same problem which they think they had resolved, but hadn't.

And in the last few episodes, or the last, this is resolved

Then, a happy, or sad ending.

That's it.

But....

In some dramas somthing happens...

The absolute worst and most stupid thing...

When they are about to go date, this fucking phenomena shows up...

Memory loss!

It is so obvious they use this fucking bullshit to let the drama air a few extra episodes, like why! Just give me a satisfying ending!

Somehow his or her memory is regained, and it ends either happily, or badly. Which follows the usual K-drama schedule.

Most of the dramas he watched, it ended happily. Result, he, and the other people who were watching the drama, were happy.

A few went badly, which caused a few smashed tv's in his case....

That aside, Dream High also follows this schedule:

(Author note: I don't like spoilers, but I have to, sorry. Go watch Dream High if you don't want to be spoiled, right now xD)

Suji meets Taecyeon, they eventually like each other.

Jaemin meets and likes Suji, but Suji doesn't like him back.

Then, some shit happens to Jaemin, which causes Suji to care for him and think less about Taecyeon, who also had some shit happening which made him distance himself from Suji.

This shit is after a few episodes resolved.

Then Suji loses her feelings for Taecyeon, eventually figuring out she likes Jaemin instead. Taecyeon is now not dejected, but suprisingly cool about it, probably to make the fans happy. And this happened at the very end.

Eventually, Jaemin and Suji have a romantic moment, they now both feel love for each other.

End.

It's a bit roughly described, but it goes almost exactly like this.

It luckily doesn't use the "Memory Loss" trick, else he'd smash his tv into pieces again. He prays for every other drama fan who has to bear with that stupid twist, may you successfully make it through the drama without having to break all your furniture...

Although Jaemin hadn't noticed yet, two people, one girl and one man, were currently following him.

He had arrived at the recording studio, he knocked a few times first, but he didn't hear anyone, nor did he hear any music. He figured JYP and Suji must be wearing headphones or something, so he just went in.

That strange dude and weird girl behind him also went in, and sneakily creeped up behind Jaemin.

For some reason, he felt uneasy, he didn't know why though. Maybe because he was nervous? He started walking a bit slower and focussed as hard as he could, and he found out that two people were following him, with the clear intention to scare him out of his wits.

If one looked at his situation logically, it should be JYP and Suji who are trying to scare him.

Hahahah, what a futile attempt!

He didn't see anyone in the recording studio, as he expected. As a result, he pretented that he was wondering were they were, even though he knew that they were right behind him.

He was about to turn around, and.....

"BWAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!" The people that were following him screamed as hard as they could. And they indeed turned out to be JYP and Suji in the flesh.

He wasn't scared, he knew they were coming. They both were actually this childish, it seems JYP had started liking Suji very early on, even earlier than he had expected. He wouldn't have done this if he wasn't a bit close with her.

JYP likes women, that's a fact, IGOT7's,(~) and other people who pay even a little attention to JYP would know that. There was even this one time, that the past GOT7 greeted JYP, of course, JYP greeted them back, normally.

And then, Suji came.

Suji said, "Hey!"

JYP...

His back turned a literal 90 degrees to the side, and he waved at her with a very 'extra' smile. saying this exact thing, "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyy~"

His reaction was totally different.

He even created a song dedicated to womans' figures, emphasizing the fact that he likes hourglass figures. (Author note: *Cough Cough, [ Song name: Who's your mama? ] Cough Cough)

That song didn't exist yet, hopefully it would stay that way...

He would be doing a good deed for... every human being.

"Tsk, you're no fun." said JYP. Suji looked a bit dejected as well, it seemed like she hoped that he would have reacted a bit more intensely.

His image was his life, how could he ruin that by getting scared by even these kinds of acts?

Jaemin nodded at them "That's true."

Very shameless indeed.

JYP laughed a bit and looked at his watch "It's almost 9 a.m, come on, let's go to the van kids."

Was it just him or did that sound very wrong?

Nevermind, JYP was a good guy, and a very good boss.

A lot of entertainment companies have very strict bosses, YG Entertainment is a clear example of this. They don't really interact that much with the trainees and idols in their companies aside from when it comes to being scolded or informed.

JYP wasn't like this, he did the complete opposite, he supports his idols, he basically adores them. And that was something every boss should have, and that is also one of the reasons why he wanted to go to JYP.

JYP would also bring him the most opportunities, like Dream High and GOT7 for example.

This doesn't mean that the other bosses are complete garbage, it just meant that JYP handled these kinds of matters better.

Jaemin looked back at JYP and walked towards the elevator.

"Okay, let's go then."
